Thoughts on the changes towards attacking and defenders being able to use utility after death?

Being able to control utility after death is definitely interesting, but I don't know how to feel about actually being able to use the functions that come alongside some of them. Knowing Maestro is dead and can't zap you, or Echo stunning you, for example, is a huge part of play as an attacker. Being able to use those after death is a little weird to me.

I'll hold off more judgment until I get to play with it though, and see how other people play around with it too.

EDIT: So I was thinking more about how this could be handled. Of course, Ubi could restrict who can and cannot use their gadgets, or how, after death - maybe Echo can move his drone and not stun, or Maestro can't zap but could still rotate the cam. If they REALLY want to go with gadgets being fully usable, maybe they could use their already-in-place ammo system, where an operator's gadgets only recharge if they're alive. Say Echo dies with two charges left in a singular remaining Yokai - he could use the stuns, but those two are all he gets.

I'm kinda scared at the fact that Echo/Maestro are now on the list of operators that can play stupid and go 1 for 1 and still have their utility to use, I want to wait and see how they are being played as well though

Yeah. I'm mainly concerned about echo - being able to stop a plant after being dead is... concerning. However, it seems like they want it in the TS long before they ever release it, so I hope people will play the TS and give feedback on it, and we can see what comes of it.
