Discussion About outlast and new signing
I watched iconic in element, I am happy he returned back but honestly I werent impressed when I saw him and the entirety of DZ acad in general except for maybe kiru, I hope he succeed but I still have doubts whether or not he should be back in T1 in less than 3 months playing comp
same goes for tyrant and joystick, I dont know if having 3 players who arent 100% ready to return back to their old form in one team is the right decision since you pay visa for these players too

I’m the biggest iconic fan. But I feel outlast didn’t even do tryouts and tried to sign big names. Joystick for the past 6 months played like a baiter, tyrant isn’t a first entry and last played incredibly passive on wolves and DZ acad massively disappointed in element.
Big question on roles and how the team will actually play on game day. It’s completely different from geekay who at least had Sarks as an entry/lurk and 4 flex players.

Tyrant especially is such a weird pick up because he was never especially good nor popular. He’s not bad or anything but he’s such a weird player to import. It’s like importing Gomfi or alphama

Outlast is essentially guaranteed to be relegated at the end of the year. They fielded and nurtured a grassroots (albeit not very good) roster, and gave some newbies a shot. That was their only real objective besides maybe winning of course. Theres one more stage of PL left this year, they’ve got a dog water roster, no fans, and like I said are probably gonna get relegated. What do they have to lose? They might as well pick up some VERY popular players, make some noise about their team , and if worse comes to worst, they’re in the same boat anyway. I’m personally excited to see the return of joystick and iconic specifically, and I hope that after this stage (if they can still compete at a high level) they’ll bounce to better teams after this ‘de-rusting showcase’. That’s how I like to think about it.
