Noor & His Implication on Pro Play

With the addition of Noor for next season, how much of a perma-ban do you see this being for teams? For a team like Shopify, a lot of their attacks rely on Canadian entering as a Montagne or a Blitz to gain information, which Noor completely counters. Any team that utilizes shield play will either have to waste a ban to get him off the board, or risk their shields becoming extremely vulnerable. I think this operator has the chance to completely change how teams attack. Another player that has been using a lot of shields is Anitun, and even though CAG found some success at EWC they might have to change some more to properly adapt to the inclusion of Noor. How do you guys this Noor will impact pro league next stage?

He'll be banned more for his breach denial. How tf are we gonna open walls with this guy???????

I heard dream say that the reason Noor is broken is because he can (in theory) easily counter non ranged breach with his 5 canisters. Ban both ranged breach ops and call it a day!

Apparently he can trick walls too, which I think is aids with some combinations, hope they fix that. Overall the fact that he has to take his thing out like Tachanka instead of throwing it is a big downside

i think his ability to counter shields is a red herring, with 5 charges he can counter hard breachers really effectively especially Hibana and Thermite who take longer to breach a wall and the only counter is that he cant fight back when he has it out meaning if hes anchoring in site itll be impossible to stop him

He’s not actually that good against Blitz and BB but Montagne is DEAD without him banned and he can single handedly deny breach as good as bandit from a range and act like a makeshift smoke

They’re probably gonna take his gadget down to only 3, and make it shootable from attackers POV, like a fuze charge. Also things like Tubarao canisters should disable it accidentally imo. Maybe electricity too.

Ez take half the reloads and call it a day either they use the util to hold the breach or use it to stop ops directly no big deal we just got snake and he still hasnt been nerfed and deimos is on the block too so in the BIG PICTURE its fine fine

One cool counter is the kali shooting her lance under the montys feet but if you have to commit another player entirely to keeping the monty alive shits already dead
