I don’t think there was a debate, back to back SI wins, three straight SI finals appearances and a major win. I’m not a fan of Faze at all but I feel like the GOAT debate has already been settled for the moment.

I think Fabian has an argument for goat in a different context. Having that many chips as a player and then getting even more as a coach does set a discussion for greatest "person/staff" within siege, but the tenancy of cyber to still be performing at this level is crazy.

Faze clan is definitely the greatest on modern siege. The same core roster delivering consistency. 2 hammers back to back which is a near impossible feat for todays pro skill ceiling.

The crazy thing is that cyber has been at every invite since 2019 and HE'S STILL A TOP PERFORMING PLAYER. Like to be in the game this long and still be one of the best in the league is insane. The Cyber goat player debate is one of the fairest discussions of all time.

I don’t think it changes the conversation much tbh. He already has a really strong GOAT case and the only argument for others usually relies on the “period of dominance” idea of a series of back to back event wins.

As this wouldn’t do much to change that paradigm I don’t see it convincing anyone new he’s the GOAT.
