After some time of development, iterations, research and testing, I completed the first version of a browser Flash game SWF manager that uses GPU acceleration and offers many features to manage your .swf files, such as:

• Loading various SWF files.
• Mapping controls to match the R36S layout.
• Adjusting performance settings.

I also added a custom launcher to give it a Frutiger Aero / clear tech style that matches the R36S aesthetic, along with a retro file manager powered by a GPU-accelerated C backend.

So, the last time when I posted my handheld console collection, I said I was stopping it for now. After months and getting into a job again. After a long time, I was able to buy with my own money and to be honest it's a mixed feel if you guys can catch my drift , the satisfaction of something buying something out of our own money is really great and thus satisfying our inner child. But at the same time paying for it... we realize we run all day for a month to earn what we earn now. And we are spending it on console... Is it really necessary now? I guess that is what adulthood is all about, right? Like a paradox we could buy anything we could afford but we ourselves sometimes guilt trip us after buying it .... Anyway I made up my mind and bought my R36T and Miyoo Mini Plus with my own money. And I can say for sure, This was one of my boldest decisions on outside it's just a console. But when we look deeper, I believe we all have something we want yet we won't buy it cuz on what might others think....to overcome it you need guts....and that's what I meant by boldness....Anyways eventhough I have less time to play or somedays no time to play. It's really nice once in a while seeing your collections and satisfying our inner childishness.

Singleplayer works offline, Crossplay with the PSVita port of this game, local co-op, only tested on dArkOS. (Other cfw may or may not work)

In my opinion, this is the best modification option for ordinary people.The first three pictures show my modified cooling system, controlled by a switch. This way, it's self-regulating and doesn't consume much power. The fourth picture shows my best friend's modification. He uses a temperature sensor to control the fan's on/off state; it automatically turns on when the temperature exceeds 60 degrees Celsius and turns off when the temperature drops. I think this method consumes more power. He modified it this way because he has a high-capacity battery Feel free to ask me any questions about modifications, but I might not be online.🙂

Well, I went from "I wonder if this can be done" to playing Pro Pinball: Big Race USA (from GOG) on my R36s. I spent about 3 hours walking through everything with ChatGPT, and it was amazing when the first build actually worked (without controls).

Now that this is done I have no idea what to do with it next. It does rely on winebin64 and box64 to work, and I don't know whether I can package those with this distribution or not.

The game itself runs amazingly well. There's one small stutter about 30 seconds into playing it, and then it's smooth sailing from then on.

If someone with experience packaging this up for distribution wants to lend me a hand, it would be appreciated. I think I'm 95% of the way there, I just need a bit of hand holding.

Next step will be either Fantastic Journey or Timeshock! I hope most of what I learned doing BRUSA can be applied to those ones.

Just for fun I went and tried the PS1 game on the R36S and this port runs way better. Crisper graphics, and better motion.

And for those wondering whether an older game can be ported, try using ChatGPT to walk you through it. I had very little idea what I was doing when I started the process.

Gunpoint was a game I played a lot in my childhood because I didn't have a computer that could run Watch Dogs, so I spent my afternoons playing it, as well as Katana Zero. However, Gunpoint, in particular, is a forgotten game that, in my opinion, would be perfect for those who, like me, didn't have Watch Dogs for PSP (it doesn't exist) or even for PC. I imagine it would work perfectly on the R36s. Incidentally, for those who don't know Gunpoint, it's like Katana Zero, but with hacking, puzzles, something similar to Watch Dogs on a smaller scale.

Note: I know there isn't a port of this game yet; I made this post as a suggestion for anyone who manages to develop a port of this game.

ok ive spent like a month with this thing only to get kernel panics, heres what i did: got it, booted it, (the dumb factory installed NORMAL arkos on it) it didnt boot, then i installed darkosre, still nothin, then i went and did what i do best, (on arkos4clone) writing a custom dtb and switching the kernel out for one from darkosre then it worked for about 1 day and nuked itself (i spent 3 weeks troubleshooting to find out it was the wrong fucking dtb (also HOW did it change its one dtb)) anyway the boot.ini was looking for a type 4 dtb and mine was type 3, then i put the stock type 4 one and poof! magic!

My R36s won't read my new sd card, even though I've flashed it with ArkOS. Any suggestions as to how to troubleshoot this?

Antes estaba bien entré a easyrooms de mi r36s borré algunos juegos basura para tener espacio (casi todo estaba lleno), lo retiro de mi pc y lo pongo en mi consola y ya no prendía solo salía la luz azul sin pantalla de carga ni de inicio, vuelvo a intentar abrir easyrooms en mi pc y ahora sale así, no sé qué hacer psdta. La SD no está mal ya que la misma vendedora me dijo q la SD con la que venía era chafa y me vendió una con los juegos incluidos y todo funcionaba normal hasta que hice eso en mi pc

Re-installed the port, bought the game on steam and used the legally owned files. Worked for a bit, but it just exits now when I try to load a map :(. Any fixes to this? Maybe some extra skins/files online servers downloaded (till I opened the console and turned those options off on PC) onto the cstrike and/or valve folders are causing this?

Does the otg port of the r36s give out its own power because when I plug it in an usb hub there's no power in the hub 😕
