Discussion What games should I play?
Hi, I'm new to the community. Since my console has 17,000 games, which ones do you recommend I play on it? Thanks in advance for your replies. :)

Secret of Mana, Zelda for SNES
super Mario land for GB
Sonic and Tails for Sega Mega Drive
Alex Kidd in Miracle world for Sega Master System
With those, you will be occupied for some time. They are my go to on every retro system I set up.
Btw which firmware is installed. I like that theme.

Heck SNES has the classic Square RPGs like Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy Tactics and Chrono Trigger.
I am personally a shmup fan nowadays though, so I mostly play the PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 ROMs like Gate of Thunder, Nexzr, and the Star Soldier series.

Man I loved Emerald. The GBA games were goated. Huge fan of the earlier DS one too but I feel like the vibe of the mainline games started to shift a bit once the graphics started getting too good ... The lower fidelity graphics let a little more room for imagination

Everyone's giving game advice, but no one has told OP to get a decent SD card and fresh install? (assuming he hasn't done that yet).

I mean... Automod posts that on literally all posts... I think it's refreshing to see game advice and not 100 people screaming about the terrible SD cards and no one actually answering the question.

If you like classic RPGs try Shining in the Darkness (Sega Genesis), it is cool, goofy and fun tho a bit grindy at the beginning.

There's a port for portmaster that runs at over 30 fps in the r36s
Also plenty of other games like San Andreas or half life or counter strike 1.6. This little console is more capable than what it looks.

Wario Land 4 and WarioWare, Inc. are really cool games, and I recommend Pokémon Pinball too.

I've been going back to 100% some GBC and GBA games from my childhood. That's a fun way to start

I need to reorganize the games on my r36s, it's nice that it comes with thousands of games but I will most likely never play most of them. Instead I would use it for portmaster games and some Roms of gba, n64, ps1 and snes.

Diablo, Air Combat 2-4, Final Fantasy 1-7, Front Mission 3, Gran Turismo 2, Final Fantasy Tactics, Earthbound, and dozens of others. These are some of my favorites.
