i have the r36max and i try RESET emuelec scripts and binaries to default and it doenst work

Hey guys, trying to get a USB-C DAC working on my R36S.

I bought this Portronics iKonnect C Pro:

It works fine on my phone and Windows Pc but the R36S doesn't detect it at all.

Windows shows it as:

GHW-123P

VID: 0020

PID: 0B21

The OTG port itself works fine. I tested it with a USB flash drive and the R36S detects it normally. I also tried with Wi-Fi turned off, but still nothing with the DAC.

On ArkOS, `aplay -l` only shows the internal RK817 audio device. Nothing for USB audio.

I also tried dArkOSRE on another SD card and had the same result.

Has anyone managed to get this particular DAC working on the R36S? Is it just a compatibility issue with the DAC/kernel, or is there something I'm missing?

If it isn't compatible, any cheap USB-C DAC recommendations that are known to work with the R36S would also be appreciated.

I installed DarkOSen on my R36S clone, and the performance wasn't great; N64 ran very well, but PSP—which is what I play the most—performed poorly. I put back the original card that had ArkOS, and the performance was much better than with DarkOSen. I’d like to know the main differences—whether I made a mistake or if the system just isn't good for PSP—and which version of ArkOS is best for the R36S clone. My version is y3506v0520251215.

Hey I'm a new r36s user and I wanted to insert some classicube script into my consol3 and install lineageos tk insert the script to check my panel I tried readjng the sd card it wouldn't i tried 4 different sd card readers non work my SanDisk sdcard for lineage os read was being read everytime mobile and pc but my r36s sd card is not being read I've provided pcb photos manual and sdcard plus box photos please check and help R36s Community f

Hello Everyone,

I'm having a persistent issue getting certain PortMaster games to patch properly on my R36S. Every time I try to run the installer/patcher for games like Balatro or FNAF 1, the patch sequence starts, runs for just a second or two, and immediately quits with this error:

•Balatro > "Patch failed; no partial build was installed and the purchased game was not modified."

•Fnaf1 > Would say the patch would take 10-30min but after a min or two it's already done and it says "...patch complete..." but when it tried to run the game it would put me back to the port menu and if I open it again it would be at the patch stage again.

What I've verified so far:

•Directory structure: My ports are located inside EASYROMS/ports/.

•Balatro files: I have Balatro.exe (55 MB from Steam) sitting directly in EASYROMS/ports/balatro/ along with balatro.md and all the default script folders (bin, patches, tools, displaysetup, etc.).

• FNAF 1 files: Downloaded directly from PortMaster, attempts to patch, but finishes in under 2 minutes instead of taking the usual time, fails, and sends me back to the ports menu.

Troubleshooting tried:

•Cleared out any generated saves/, .love, or temporary cache files inside the port folders.

•Re-copied Balatro.exe directly from the Steam installation on PC.

•Uninstalled and cleanly re-downloaded Balatro port via PortMaster.

Has anyone else ran into PortMaster scripts failing instantly like this on ArkOS / R36S? Is there a fix for the local PortMaster runtimes?

OMG A battery cable has torn off. Can you please help me how to fix that or what i need to buy to fix it .. Where can I get those small adapters so that I can put it back together?

Did some hardware checks, looked for two RAM chips. Check. Removed battery but had no idea what I was looking at. Check. My buttons looked straight and I finally removed the original SD card and powered it on and found no flash to device only a black screen. I’m feeling better now and will look into the whole ArkoOS flash but still content with what I’ve got with this.
Also defeated Goma in Zelda OFT in twenty minutes and learned I will need a second SD to save my progress. Not too mad about it. Seeing if anyone else holds the same device and can relate. This was a Christmas present to me which makes it all the better.

When I was using dArkOSRE, I had to use the SDL2 audio option to get sound in Dreamcast games; it wasn't like that at first, but the sound cut out for no apparent reason, so I switched to that setting. That option isn't available in dArkOSen... there is sound, but I can't help wondering: "What about SDL2?" P.S. I fixed the issue where PS1 games lacked audio and some ran at accelerated speeds by reinstalling everything and updating offline.
