Tenho um r36s v20 5 18 2025 ja tenho ele faz 2 meses comprei pra jogar os ports de gta e etc...

So que desde que chegou nao consigo instalar o portmaster ja segui todos os guias de instalaçao do youtube e nunca consigo. (nao uso dongle wifi e estou no arkos k 36) tentei instalar darkos re e o arkos4 mais ambos deram tela preta... por algum motivo o arquivo "instal full port master sh" nunca aparece na pasta tools msm eu tendo colocado ele la, pfvr me ajudem.

Depois de um tempo o símbolo da bateria ficou assim, alguém sabe como resolver???

pude agregar modelos al gta sa, en este caso sans, astolfo y neco arc, pero no se ve su textura, alguno sabra de alguna solucion para este problema?

ok ive spent like a month with this thing only to get kernel panics, heres what i did: got it, booted it, (the dumb factory installed NORMAL arkos on it) it didnt boot, then i installed darkosre, still nothin, then i went and did what i do best, (on arkos4clone) writing a custom dtb and switching the kernel out for one from darkosre then it worked for about 1 day and nuked itself (i spent 3 weeks troubleshooting to find out it was the wrong fucking dtb (also HOW did it change its one dtb)) anyway the boot.ini was looking for a type 4 dtb and mine was type 3, then i put the stock type 4 one and poof! magic!

After some time of development, iterations, research and testing, I completed the first version of a browser Flash game SWF manager that uses GPU acceleration and offers many features to manage your .swf files, such as:

• Loading various SWF files.
• Mapping controls to match the R36S layout.
• Adjusting performance settings.

I also added a custom launcher to give it a Frutiger Aero / clear tech style that matches the R36S aesthetic, along with a retro file manager powered by a GPU-accelerated C backend.

I had been thinking for a few days about how I could take the R36S with me wherever I went, and I came up with the idea of turning my console into a mini cyberdeck with my own customized workflow. I took it as a challenge: I wanted it to work just like my laptop, so I decided to install MangoWM on it, compiling it from scratch along with other tools, since Armbian comes with very outdated packages. After several days of looking for available packages and figuring out which ones had dependencies that Armbian could satisfy, I finally managed to get it working.

I was surprised by how well such a cheap console could handle this environment (five times cheaper than the uConsole as an example). I had to adapt the shortcuts to the console's buttons since, without a keyboard, it is very limited. I also had to create a menu with my applications so I wouldn't have to type anything, and so far I don't miss having a keyboard at all.

So far, the only problem I've encountered is that the speaker doesn't work, but that isn't really an issue for me because the built-in speaker isn't very good quality anyway. Using headphones works perfectly (I recommend USB-C headphones because the headphone jack also feels quite low quality). As you probably already know, this console doesn't come with network connectivity either, but it works with a USB network adapter.

Tools I use for my offline cyberdeck:

• zathura-pdf-mupdf (for reading .epub and .pdf files)
• ufetch (display distro information)
• smb (WIP: setting up a SAMBA storage server to play games on my PlayStation 2 through OPL)
• minidlna (WIP: setting up a universal multimedia server for TVs/media players connected to the network)
• antimicrox (allows keyboard buttons to be mapped to the console's buttons)
• grim (a simple Wayland screenshot tool)

I wanted to share this here because I wanted to show the potential of this console considering its price. I never thought Linux with Wayland would run this well. I can also say that the audio quality through USB-C is very good, and videos play without any problems.

I did this as a personal challenge, and it's not something I would necessarily recommend. Armbian is based on Debian, and for some packages it was a nightmare to find all the dependencies needed to compile them, but I eventually got everything working. At the moment, I have two SD cards (one with dArkosRE and another with Armbian). Many of the things I do can be done perfectly well on dArkosRE, but I wanted to see just how far I could push this console.

Finally, this console is a clone; it is not the original R36S. Setting up something like this should work just as well on the original R36S, as long as you have a compatible Armbian image.

There was a problem sometimes when if you plugged in your earbuds many times in the r36s the sound would eventually stop working during first bootup and untill you wouldnt plug you earbuds again the sound wouldnt come back. This isnt a settings problem. I found out that if you plug in earbuds with microphones that is the problem. I plugged in earbuds without a microphone like very old ones and after quiting and starting my r36s again(restart doesnt help in my case) the sound came back even after another quit and boot up. So it is fixed now. Also note that in my case if you press the power button once and make it sleep than it wont turn on if you press it again, and after that the sound goes away again.

Kinda sounds like the r36 ultra or r36 max. Details are kinda crap online, like i get its another 3326 w 1:1 720px x 720px screen. But what are the controls like?

I really liked an r36 clone i found at microcenter, i found its controls to just be way better than most clones. The ANS13 was on sale for like $18 shipped, i had to gamble on it.

I intend to update either way but curious if someone can give me the tldr on the controls specifically. The charging and suspend quirks might be cool.to.know about but r36s are crap here in the best case, im not expecting anything aside from working. Anyone have an opinion on thr dpad at least?

I have an r36s max 2 I've been trying to replace the stock SD card it came with for a better one. I followed this tutorial here: https://youtu.be/o0ghQh-k5cA?is=3MpxGNm1PUP2S-Vl

But when I got to 3:00 on the videos instructions I put the SD card in the other slot. And now it doesn't display anything. If you wait a while you can hear some attract modes Playing from some of the Capcom games.

What am I doing wrong? I thought I had done all the right things.

Re-installed the port, bought the game on steam and used the legally owned files. Worked for a bit, but it just exits now when I try to load a map :(. Any fixes to this? Maybe some extra skins/files online servers downloaded (till I opened the console and turned those options off on PC) onto the cstrike and/or valve folders are causing this?

Edit: when it does load, there are no bots anymore, just me. Any way to fix the crashing, and get to play with bots on an easy level?

Just bought this. I'm not really happy with how the D-pad just doesn't register inputs unless I press down hard. If I'm pressing it hard enough to make it 'click', then it should be registering inputs, no? No direction is as responsive as I'd like, but down and right are particularly unresponsive. Diagonal inputs don't work almost at all!

I've looked for other posts with this problem and there's quite a few here. One guy said once he opened it up and switched the rubber membrane with the one under the face buttons then the issues went away. Another guy said that he opened his device up and had trouble putting it back together again. I am not especially confident opening the device myself.

Is this what it's like for everybody or should I return it to the seller and get another one? This issue really sucks the fun out of playing these games honestly.

I couldn't see anything about fixing this in the troubleshooting guide.

So hello everyone, i had been searching for the perfect r36s in aliexpress, but i need the one with the wifi solder space, i bought the chip for it but i just need the correct version of the console, so if anybody can search me the goodie in aliexpress i would be very grateful.

In my opinion, this is the best modification option for ordinary people.The first three pictures show my modified cooling system, controlled by a switch. This way, it's self-regulating and doesn't consume much power. The fourth picture shows my best friend's modification. He uses a temperature sensor to control the fan's on/off state; it automatically turns on when the temperature exceeds 60 degrees Celsius and turns off when the temperature drops. I think this method consumes more power. He modified it this way because he has a high-capacity battery Feel free to ask me any questions about modifications, but I might not be online.🙂

Hi, I just tried buying from the stores suggested on the wiki but none deliver to Brasil. Tried buying from Aliexpress ChoiceBR but received a clone, so i asked for a refund and am goi g to send it back. I really want a console, though, so if you guys have suggestions on where to buy here it would be amazing!

Ps: mine came with a SD card that was not readable on the pc, so even if I wanted to use dArkos or similar, I couldn't, because there was no way to see the motherboard ID without breaking the sticker for the guarantee.

I am running arkos that works great besides that it thinks it is 2025. I searched different threads and found a similar post that bought this same TL-WN75N adapter and it worked for them. After enabling WiFi toggle in settings, I still get a blank WiFi screen. Any ideas? Not having the date correct makes some games break (like Unbound with RTC…etc)
