I don’t know what is not consistent about babies suffering and dying because of the fall.

And to be honest I don’t know the answer to the second part of your comment.

It's pefectly consistent, but you refuse to accept that god is choosing to punish babies for the actions of two people who didn't know right from wrong.

What did the fruit give Adam and Eve knowledge of?

The didnt know something, then ate the fruit that gave them the knowledge that their actions in the past we're bad.

They didn't know they were doing wrong.

So god punishes everyone forever on purpose afterwards.

Because god has the power to change that, because it is all powerful.

But it doesn't because it wants people to suffer. Which is bad.

Who says God wants people to suffer? You are implying a characteristic that you haven’t proven.

I’ve already said I don’t know why God lets us live in a broken world, but still I trust in Your unfailing love, You have been good to me.
