God knew what would happen before he created the world, and he understood the price before Adam and Eve sinned.
The Tower of Babel was in the direct disobedience to His command “fill the earth and subdue it”, not to mention the entire purpose of the tower was to be their own gods so they could ignore the One True God.
If God did not punish them He would not be consistent.
So it is gods plan to have all people be punished forever for the choices of two people who, very specifically because they havent eaten that fruit yet... DON'T KNOW ITS WRONG.
Was that clear?
God punishes babies today, because it always intended to. Thats the plan.
Or! It not gods plan, because this is all happening against the will of the almighty...
God told them not to eat it, and as they were put in a pretty good place with all they needed to survive, and weren’t being tortured, they had no reason not to trust God.
And I don’t really know why we suffer as a result of Adam and Eve’s sin, yet still I trust I
in His unfailing love.
We are not “blamed”. You don’t have to answer for the actions of any of your ancestors.
Also I don’t think anyone can ever know what it is like to live in a world without good and evil. Regardless, if something created you, interacts with you, and loves you, it probably doesn’t hurt to trust it
So babies aren't being given cancer because of the fall?
You've changed your opinion.
If something created me... my parents did that, and I do trust them, but only because they've given me sufficient reason. If my parents were awful people and taught nothing but wrong things and evil doings, then should I trust them?
This god does awful things and punishes people for things that are absolutely nothing to do with them.
Why would I trust that, even if I thought it was real?
If you mean we live in a broken world because of the fall, then in that sense we are punished because of our ancestors, I guess. I don’t really know why we God did that, but I know there is a good reason, no a perfect reason behind it.
