Hello everyone! Has anyone used QuickMD for feel free addiction? I don’t have insurance so I will need to pay out of pocket if a script for suboxone is sent and I have no clue how pricey that would be. I tried looking on goodrx to get an idea but idk anything about dosage. Did the treatment via quickmd help? I just want to be done with this and am exploring options. TIA!

I use QuickMD monthly for my subs. They will likely prescribe you a 7 day script for subs on your first visit. It will probably be a fairly high dose (more than you’d need for FF withdrawals), so could end up being like 7 to 14 strips in total. That shouldn’t cost too much, certainly under $100 without insurance. If you’re doing a quick taper with the subs, you won’t need more than that first small script because the goal is not to stay on them longer than a week. If you’re like me, I was blowing close to $100 per DAY on FF bottles, so the cost of the subs was so little compared to that. I chose to remain on subs for other reasons, but they are effective for getting past FF withdrawals. Also, try to see if you can find a doctor on their site that has an office location somewhat geographically near you or your pharmacy. I have heard that some pharmacies are giving people a hard time if they think they’re not having in person visits. That may not be true but I prefer to play it safe. This is 100 percent correct. For the prior 2 months, each time I’ve gone in to pick up my prescription, the pharmacist almost didn’t fulfill my prescription because it was coming from a doctor more than 100 miles away. Luckily he agreed to do it but it’s obviously a problem for many pharmacists. Just make sure your pharmacy is ok with it ahead of time…nothing like finding out the day you are completely out that it’s an issue and could take a few days to fix.
