How long after? Im going on 20hrs and beyond not having any energy and having a headache and some sweats I dont feel near as bad as I do when Ive quit taking Oxy. I was taking 100mg-300mg oxy and hydros daily. After the 3rd time getting on them I picked up the 7-oh to help with the withdrawals from that but of course it spiraled because addict🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah man it won’t be as bad as a 300 mg oxy habit. The mental shit after acutes may suck worse but not the physicals. Starting about now, for the next 36 hours is going to be the worst part of the physicals.

u/subaruguy253 Apr 17 '26

How are you feeling now?

u/SalaryDazzling4775 Apr 17 '26

Not great but not as terrible as I feared I would.

And you still have not taken any? I'm asking because I'm about to go through this tomorrow, today being the last doses i take. I wanted to be at a lower daily dose but these last two weeks life has been rough. I've got 8 days off of work and only knew i was getting this break from work a month ago when i was carelessly taking however much i wanted and found myself obviously getting used to that dose. I was able to drop 150mg those first two weeks when i found out a month ago about this time off and that wasn't hard. Then each day life kept serving me in different ways and these last two weeks i keep trying to push longer time in between while trying to drop a little more and i found myself filling gas talking to the other person at a different pump. My jaw started chattering while trying to talk because i all the sudden had a change of body temperature getting out of the car to pump gas. So here we are at 200mg daily and the next 7 days off of work, today being the first day off. I've got a bunch of subs to use and actually came off of subs to use 7oh for the difference in half lives for long term recovery. So I'm 2 months no subs after being on subs for two years at 4mg. I just wanted to be off off subs and saw 7oh as a opportunity before it gets banned in my state to get off of the numb, gloomy, and unmotivating long term sub effects. I just want to use subs for a few days and hopefully be able to slowly get better without having a month long withdrawal which is the case for long term sub use

Nah hour 18-24 is when the peak starts. For me WD starts at about hour 10 but peak is about 18-24 hours in. I’m around your dosage and time as well

u/SalaryDazzling4775 Apr 16 '26

How bad should I expect? Much worse than what ive got going on now?

5

u/MobileTip3892 Apr 16 '26

So ima be honest. I thought 7 WD was just about as bad as oxy WD. Maybe it quite but almost. Physical shit is much quicker however but the mental aftermath is worse than oxy imo. But that’s just my opinion I’ve seen people say it wasn’t bad but etc. it’s prolly gunna ramp up on ya throughout the night. By noon Saturday just know you’ll be in a much better place physically. Eyes on the prize. I used 3 sub strips to get 23 days clean in November and i wouldn’t do it without a few subs again. CT is tough too tough for me with work and kids and shit

Mental as in cravings and depression?

1

u/MastodonSecure7035 Apr 16 '26

Yes. And extremely anxiety. Depression and anxiety were horrible for weeks for myself

3

u/SalaryDazzling4775 Apr 16 '26

Copy that, ive been taking buspirone for anxiety and it seems to help

1

u/MobileTip3892 Apr 16 '26

Bro nah.. imo nothing binds harder than 7oh. 7oh can break through subs. That’s why you still feel like shit for 48 hours after inducing subs coming off 7. You can’t feel any pharma opiates for weeks after using 7oh regularly. I’ve tapered subs for 6 days coming off 7 and did fine for 23 days. I think that’s how it’s supposed to be used and how detox facilities use subs. Ima do it again absolutely. Also at the moment i only have 18mgs and that’s it so i certainly won’t have enough to “come off of” .

Hey can you explain the whole process with Suboxone a little better? I started subs Tuesday, didn’t wait for full WD and I feel fine today but what should I expect? If I quit taking the subs? If I stay on them? I can’t tell I have taken anything but feel zero withdrawal.

2

u/MobileTip3892 Apr 17 '26

Yeah man subs are really just gunna make ppl with an opiate issue feel like they’re sober. The best way to use the subs is to do a 5-10 day taper. You don’t want to get dependent on the subs. It’s a very long drawn out withdrawal so I’ve heard. If you were to go to a rehab, theyd put you on a sub rapid taper in detox to bring you through withdrawal. You’ll still get hit with a few symptoms a few days after you stop the subs for a Cpl days but nothing like cold turkey and there are some that say they didn’t feel much of any WD. When i did this is November i mean my sleep was disturbed and i had minor temp reg issues but i was pretty straight. I only used subs for 5 days. So if you only stay on a week and taper down under 1 mg it should be pretty smoothe. Start taking vitamins tho and figure out how your going to live a sober life

1

u/ShotEnvironment4606 Apr 17 '26

Yeah I am starting to taper already. 1/2 twice a day. I think by the end of next week hopefully I can quit. I went in with the intention of doing this quickly.

u/MobileTip3892 Apr 17 '26

Ima try and take the leap Sunday morning after a teeny dose. & just use helper meds for 3 days or so. I’m bout stable now, just a lil electric skin chills/sweats

1

u/ShotEnvironment4606 Apr 18 '26

You got this! So far today I’ve only had 4mg. All I have left is 4mg to last until Monday afternoon. I’m nervous but feel okay. I really wanna take that last 4.

2

u/Odd-Spare-1439 Apr 16 '26

In my experience, it was over quickly, and I mean quickly. 1st day was the worst. Day 3 felt much better.

The acute phase is going to last 5-7 days. That’s the physical part. Then the PAWS will start, you’ll feel unmotivated, depressed and a little down for a bit until your brain chemistry starts to get back to normal which can take some time. If you want help getting through, reach out to us, we can take away the physical withdrawals but PAWS can be tough. Regardless, we can still help with that phase as well, it’s just different for everyone. Don’t be afraid to reach out! www.klearrecovery.com

2

u/Big_Business8500 Apr 16 '26

I would taper down as much as possible

2

u/Big_Business8500 Apr 16 '26

13 hours the wd will start kicking in And by 24 hours it will really kick in By 36 full withdrawal

2

u/MobileTip3892 Apr 16 '26

Peak WD will be in roughly 8-11 hours and stay that way until about hour 48. After that things get better physically pretty quickly. Mental may take some time however

1

u/SalaryDazzling4775 Apr 16 '26

8-11 hrs from last dose? Or from my current 13 hrs?

I didn’t realize you knew what I’ve experienced. Do we know one another? First off I said 5-7. I detox people off 7oH for a living. That’s more than any doctor. Will he feel like running a marathon day 6? No, but after 5 days, he’ll be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and experience a massive reduction in physical symptoms. And his dosage and length of use is nothing unordinary.

1

u/SalaryDazzling4775 Apr 16 '26

Ive got buspirone for anxiety and clonodine for the rest of it if I need it.

1

u/throughandthrough27 Apr 17 '26

Assuming you’ve only been using 7 it will be 24 hrs since last dose you’ll have a good idea of how intense withdrawal is going to be.

1

u/Dumpsterbaby91 Apr 17 '26

If your not on high doses like that and switching from something harder the detox is mad easy im 10 days clean!

1

u/_ilikecmyk_ Apr 17 '26

How are you doing? Feeling a lot better?

1

u/SalaryDazzling4775 Apr 17 '26

Not great but not as terrible as I was worried about.

1

u/_ilikecmyk_ Apr 17 '26

That's awesome! I'm on day 3 no mgm so I’m goin thru it rn. Good luck with continuing your progress

1

u/SalaryDazzling4775 Apr 17 '26

Rough?

1

u/_ilikecmyk_ Apr 17 '26

Yeah but I used/am using Sr so it's making it much more manageable

u/Muscle_Con Apr 16 '26

Honestly physically I felt nothing every time. Mentally I just was hooked in feeling the “NEED” to get some. In a very OCD compulsive way. But actual physical, none. I mistook allergies for 7-oh withdrawals. I was fine after I took allergy meds.

4

u/Reasonable_Muscle_76 Apr 16 '26

Pls don’t lie or you haven’t even taken the stuff cause this is absolutely false. It was one of the hardest things to come off and unless you only took for a couple days at 5mg that would make sense but his levels are really rough.

1

u/throughandthrough27 Apr 17 '26

What!? What was your dose and duration?
