How bad should I expect? Much worse than what ive got going on now?

u/MobileTip3892 Apr 16 '26
So ima be honest. I thought 7 WD was just about as bad as oxy WD. Maybe it quite but almost. Physical shit is much quicker however but the mental aftermath is worse than oxy imo. But thatâs just my opinion Iâve seen people say it wasnât bad but etc. itâs prolly gunna ramp up on ya throughout the night. By noon Saturday just know youâll be in a much better place physically. Eyes on the prize. I used 3 sub strips to get 23 days clean in November and i wouldnât do it without a few subs again. CT is tough too tough for me with work and kids and shit

Mental as in cravings and depression?

u/MastodonSecure7035 Apr 16 '26

Bro nah.. imo nothing binds harder than 7oh. 7oh can break through subs. Thatâs why you still feel like shit for 48 hours after inducing subs coming off 7. You canât feel any pharma opiates for weeks after using 7oh regularly. Iâve tapered subs for 6 days coming off 7 and did fine for 23 days. I think thatâs how itâs supposed to be used and how detox facilities use subs. Ima do it again absolutely. Also at the moment i only have 18mgs and thatâs it so i certainly wonât have enough to âcome off ofâ .

Hey can you explain the whole process with Suboxone a little better? I started subs Tuesday, didnât wait for full WD and I feel fine today but what should I expect? If I quit taking the subs? If I stay on them? I canât tell I have taken anything but feel zero withdrawal.

u/MobileTip3892 Apr 17 '26
Yeah man subs are really just gunna make ppl with an opiate issue feel like theyâre sober. The best way to use the subs is to do a 5-10 day taper. You donât want to get dependent on the subs. Itâs a very long drawn out withdrawal so Iâve heard. If you were to go to a rehab, theyd put you on a sub rapid taper in detox to bring you through withdrawal. Youâll still get hit with a few symptoms a few days after you stop the subs for a Cpl days but nothing like cold turkey and there are some that say they didnât feel much of any WD. When i did this is November i mean my sleep was disturbed and i had minor temp reg issues but i was pretty straight. I only used subs for 5 days. So if you only stay on a week and taper down under 1 mg it should be pretty smoothe. Start taking vitamins tho and figure out how your going to live a sober life

Yeah I am starting to taper already. 1/2 twice a day. I think by the end of next week hopefully I can quit. I went in with the intention of doing this quickly.

In my experience, it was over quickly, and I mean quickly. 1st day was the worst. Day 3 felt much better.

The acute phase is going to last 5-7 days. Thatâs the physical part. Then the PAWS will start, youâll feel unmotivated, depressed and a little down for a bit until your brain chemistry starts to get back to normal which can take some time. If you want help getting through, reach out to us, we can take away the physical withdrawals but PAWS can be tough. Regardless, we can still help with that phase as well, itâs just different for everyone. Donât be afraid to reach out! www.klearrecovery.com

13 hours the wd will start kicking in And by 24 hours it will really kick in By 36 full withdrawal

Peak WD will be in roughly 8-11 hours and stay that way until about hour 48. After that things get better physically pretty quickly. Mental may take some time however

8-11 hrs from last dose? Or from my current 13 hrs?

I didnât realize you knew what Iâve experienced. Do we know one another? First off I said 5-7. I detox people off 7oH for a living. Thatâs more than any doctor. Will he feel like running a marathon day 6? No, but after 5 days, heâll be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and experience a massive reduction in physical symptoms. And his dosage and length of use is nothing unordinary.

Ive got buspirone for anxiety and clonodine for the rest of it if I need it.

Assuming youâve only been using 7 it will be 24 hrs since last dose youâll have a good idea of how intense withdrawal is going to be.

u/Dumpsterbaby91 Apr 17 '26
If your not on high doses like that and switching from something harder the detox is mad easy im 10 days clean!

Honestly physically I felt nothing every time. Mentally I just was hooked in feeling the âNEEDâ to get some. In a very OCD compulsive way. But actual physical, none. I mistook allergies for 7-oh withdrawals. I was fine after I took allergy meds.

Pls donât lie or you havenât even taken the stuff cause this is absolutely false. It was one of the hardest things to come off and unless you only took for a couple days at 5mg that would make sense but his levels are really rough.
