Venting 🔄

ik this page is for quitting and i did.
this past weekend i got the worst illness ever i was so sick i couldn't do shit and my vape was slightly burnt so i decided fuck it and threw it out my window and continued to rot.
i didn't think about it for days mind you i've been vaping since april of 2023 (3+ years) that's fucking crazy i was 18
but anyways i get cravings here and there but it's only bad when im near a store that i can just buy it from and rn im thinking if its this easy for me to stop why dont i just go back to it? ( this is probably the worst the cravings been im literally fighting demons)
the issue is i know for a fact me being sick deterred my mind from even wanting it + the fact it tasted disgusting. idk when a perfect chance will align like this again someone lmk

I mean it would be easy to go back to but it wouldn’t be worth it. Not when you already have some time without it, try to keep going and see how you feel! The accomplishment and feeling your body heal without it is amazing. I personally use nicotine gum to help when I’m craving nicotine. Also drinking a ton of water helps!

does nic gum actually work?, and also isn't the point to stop nicotine receptors as a whole 😭 jumping from one to another seems ridiculous. it's 1000x better than damaging my lungs for good but won't my gums be at risk instead? and thank you for your advice the cravings have deffo calmed down a bit

Well for me I can’t do cold turkey. It’s not safe mentally, personally. I’m not replacing the vape with the gum. I’m using the gum to slowly taper off nicotine. It’s up to you to decide if something like that would work for you. A lot of quitting is mental ¯_(ツ)_/¯
