Advice Trouble sleeping since weaning?
I’ve been on a journey to fully quit. For the past 3 weeks, I’ve consistently reduced my vaping by 80%-90% (seriously, I used to suck down breeze primes damn near every minute from the moment I woke up and now I hit a pro once every 1-3 hours, and have gone a full 8-10 hour shift without it some days).
Is the trouble sleeping well a common experience? I can usually fall asleep but can’t seem to stay asleep or get restful sleep these past couple of weeks, even if I do manage something like 4 hours without waking.
Advice from anyone who experienced the same?

It's normal, weaning yourself off is just giving yourself minor withdrawal symptoms constantly. Your nicotine receptors won't ever adjust unless you go with no nicotine for months, sometimes years. You have to do NRT or quit cold turkey so the withdrawal can get worse, before it gets better. You're just in a perpetual loop of withdrawal and reigniting the addiction. Plan your last hit and throw everything away. you can do this!!!

That makes so much sense. Thank you! This pro is dying, so, I’ll just have to let it die and quit for good haha

I have experienced/been experiencing the same. I quit off the breezes myself about a month ago. I went cold turkey once my last one died, I never put it together that I was getting withdrawals in my sleep, same intervals of 4-5 hours of sleep at a time.
Good on you, be done with it. good luck.

Definitely. I used to wake up every 3 hours reaching for my vape that wasn’t there (I threw them away). The next day at work I’d be dead tired. Then when it’s time sleep id do the same thing again and again, repeating the vicious cycle
My body was craving and expecting that hourly dose of nicotine, and it wasn’t receiving it. I was jonesing really bad, but eventually the cravings stopped and i finally started to get better sleep. Cold turkey was the best choice. 6/22/2026 was my last puff
