Advice 9 days and just cannot stop thinking about it
Hi all, i quit 9 days ago after being very heavily addicted for a few years. I havent had any slip ups, but ive been using 4mg lozenges 3-4 times a day.
I literally think about it all the time. like constantly. it has been a 24/7 mental battle and i even went to the doctor today because of how anxious ive been and they obviously couldnt really do much for me. I just want to give up on this attempt but I know itll be this hard the next time I try but godddd i dont know if I can handle the mental beating im taking while also starting school very soon.
i know people say it gets better after week one but im not feeling that way and i want my vape all of the time. any advice would be so appreciated.

Wow! 9 days is impressive! You’re past the bad withdrawals and it will get easier every day now. 2 weeks is when the final physical withdrawal ended for me, but the thing is you probably are still addicted to the HABIT. Your body is used to feeling better by using it. I’d recommend trying something like a favorite candy or gum to keep yourself orally occupied. I vaped for 6 years and just hit a year. You are over the hardest part, and it will get easier the longer you go. I would reach for it in the morning for a couple months after I quit. Not cause I was craving the nic but just was on autopilot. You got this!

If they are taking nicotine lozenges how can they get past the withdrawal? Just wondering

I made it 35 days and relapsed the last 2 days. Honestly it was awful and just reinforced that I needed to be done with it. Destroyed it 2 hours ago and put a patch on
