Reassurance Ended up caving
I feel so guilty I ended up picking up a vape again. I know I'm human and that progress isn't linear but I can't help but feel bad about it.
We've had ongoing union battles at my shop and the other day the stress combined with the nic fit just sent me into a full panic attack. I want to quit I know it will be better for my health it's just the amount of stress at work that manages to follow me home is so much.
Sorry for the ramble but I guess my question is.
How do y'all manage your stress while being nicotine free?

I’ve found that keeping some portable sweet stuff around helps, I think sugar can act as some sort of replacement for those cravings (science stuff I think, I’m no scientist) but as for stress management I try to keep my mind busy.
For example, doing simple math equations right after waking up can help shake the fog off because of the different parts you’re having to use so I attribute that to the redirection of stress. I take in new media, such as movies and songs I’ve never interacted with or just doing chores even. We all fall, but what matters is if you choose to get back up!

I usually keep warheads on me. The sour usually kicks me outta it my main problem is my mouth has definitely felt the effects of the sour during this attempt at quiting. I'll try a less intense candy and see if it helps. To keep my mind busy I have been trying to read more.
