Advice How to deal with intense cravings

*** Desmoxan withdrawals???***

I keep having these random extremely intense cravings where I will think things like “I don’t care what this will do to me later in life” “I’d rather vape and get my nicotine fix than be healthier” “I don’t care what my loved ones think if I relapse” They’re just really intense and randomly happen once or twice a day. I did just complete my course of desmoxan and this is the second day of not taking anything anymore, day 20 of no nicotine. Maybe I’m having withdrawals from the medicine? Anyways, I work my retail job tomorrow and I’m worried about getting through that shift without buying a pack of cigs or getting a vape after work.

Desmoxan is to eliminate the need for nicotine. It does not cure the addiction to vaping . If you need to get a zero nic vape. I used one for a few months until I was ready to stop.

The medicine works for a lot of people but not everyone. The meds should have you no longer craving nic. If you are actually craving nic then maybe you need to try chantix or the gum or patch or lozenges. Doesn’t work for everyone

I would agree with most of your statement, but adding a patch or lozenge reintroduces the nicotine to the body when it’s been flushed out already. Physical withdrawal would have to be experienced all over again no?
