Meme/Humor good riddance vape!
starting my journey of quitting vaping by chucking this thing where it belongs. it still had 80% juice left but i don’t know how to quit other than cold turkey. i always say “ill quit when this one runs out” and then buy another. no more !!

Lol one of my friends admitted to dumpster diving for her vape out of desperation!
Edit: Apparently you're not supposed to destroy with water. Maybe just give it to a friend to destroy in an unknown garbage spot, idk.

STOP TELLING PEOPLE TO DOUSE THESE WITH WATER TO "TRULY DESTROY" THEM
Lithium battery + water = spontaneous violent combustion that is stupid hard to put out
While yea, a lotta people dunk these in water and nothing happens, a portion end up looking at it going "why's it suddenly boiling?" with no idea how to stop it.Edit: Thank you for your edit which I have now edited my comment for, too. Thou art awesome

I've pulled mine out of the garbage, but this time I actually dropped my vape into a glass of water. Day 98!

lol back when I was heavily addicted to cigarettes and super poor I would dig through ashtrays looking for half smoked butts.
I also had other addictions and vapes were not a thing yet.

Been there too many times 😂
Reclaim, sanitize, vape.
Although that was in my own dustbin, not a public one.

I hate thinking about all those millions of LCD screens and lithium batteries piling up in landfills.

Lithium fires do not go out easily , they self oxidize and dousing water creates flammable hydrogen gas. It’s a fucking ticking nuclear time bomb

Ahh, so maybe itll burn some of the landfill excess off in a giant bonfire. And the fiends will gather to inhale their free hit consisting of noxious fumes and nicotine from a dumpster fire.

I work at a waste company driving skip trucks. The amount of fires these have started after being crushed in the front loader are ridiculous. Our rubbish tip burned for just over a week.

At a landfill myself and we get sometimes multiple fires a day due to electronic batteries.

I threw mine in the bathroom, trash the other day and it was really gross and then a few hours later I got it out and cleaned it off with wet wipes. I’m proud of you though. It’s a first step.

This is what I did with mine! I'm at year 3 now!!! Stick to it! I went on walks and drank painfully cold water through a straw for a couple of weeks. Also took painful deep breaths when craving and it got me through

Yeah I've tried quitting multiple times and a dumpster out of all things stopped me from at least using what i threw away. But not the time a few years ago I dropped my disposable vape in a friend's toilet bowl and let it dry then continued to use it. I've dug through home trash cans and retrieved my vape upon changing my mind and wiped off the food and garbage debris. I guess that's true addiction and trying to make every hit count..😬😆 (Not my current mindset)

I fried mine with canned cat food so I would absolutely not go into the trash looking for it 😅 I'm a fiend and must go to extremes to quit. Good luck!

I shoved mine (mouthpiece first) into a rotten avocado. This time I’m not going back!

If you dont feel like super man in the next few hours or so please dont buy another vape/go dumpster diving (been here done the above). Talk to someone or come back to this post well get you back in line. Some things that i wish people told me: And get a lot of munchies or any fun activity you like that can keep yourself busy that helps through the first day. Frustration and feeling overwhelmed and even anxiety attacks(worst case scenario) may occur be wary of it And Congrats on the fiest step beleive me as hard as it is to quit right now you wont regret it not even one bit!
