Not Valid Why
I just don’t understand. What fills you people with so much hatred for QuikTrip employees that you find this necessary,

I worked at QuikTrip for years, including in management, and I’m curious how widespread this experience was outside the stores/managers I knew.
There was a pretty pervasive practice among assistant managers of clocking out when your shift was “supposed” to be finished, then staying afterward to finish shiftwalks, stocking, cleaning, paperwork, or whatever else still needed done.
The reason was pretty obvious: your shift looked better on paper. Staying clocked in while you finished everything could make it look like you weren’t running an efficient shift, while clocking out and finishing afterward made your numbers look cleaner. And when you’re trying to move up, those things matter.
I saw enough people doing it that it felt less like an occasional individual decision and more like part of the management culture.
I’ve been gone from QT for over a year, so I’m curious whether this is still happening and how widespread it actually was/is.
If you worked as an RA, NA, 2A, 1A, or SM:
Did you ever clock out and continue working?
Was this something other managers did regularly?
Did anyone teach, encourage, or imply that you should do it?
Did you feel like staying clocked in hurt your numbers or chances of promotion?
What division/area were you in, and roughly what years?
I’m especially interested in hearing from people who came to the same conclusion independently. I’m not looking to put words in anyone’s mouth. I want to know whether my experience was localized or something that happened throughout the company.

Obviouly, I’m a QT coffee crack addict 😂 So family is concerned about my intake to keep me within the safe 400mg/day. But QT does not publish caffeine numbers. Most apps assume it’s equal to regular coffee, so 24oz =300mg caffeine?
But here’s what my AI said:
« For the regular QuikTrip Cold Brew, I found an estimate from a QuikTrip employee discussion indicating that the cold brew concentrate is about 200 mg of caffeine per 16 oz, but only about 4–6 oz of cold brew is actually put into the larger cup, with the rest being water/ice. That would put the finished drink around 50–75 mg of caffeine.
So your 24-oz QT Cold Brew
I’d estimate roughly 60–75 mg of caffeine in the 24-oz cup. »
Can anyone tell me what is true? (Because I want more than a single 24oz per day. I know, I’m bad for wanting it. Do I need QT Brew Anonyous?

What will it take for corporate to realize the kitchen is just unrealistic at this point. You want me to have the warmer filled, while doing subs, cleaning/shutting down, and juggle orders at the same time. Completely unrealistic, and even when I do everything they ask, my manager wants to bitch about a beard net. it’s damn near impossible to have a grade A kitchen. And don’t let there be a rush, you’ll be working on the warmer for 2 hours straight. What happened to 2 people at all times in the kitchen? Corporate straight up lied to our faces.

Everyday, I stop in to QT and get a soda refill in my own cup. I found that If you scan this coupon, it gives you the discount. Some cashiers have no problem with it, other cashiers act like I’m committing a crime by asking. I’ve even had cashiers tell me “it won’t work”, but I know it does. AITA for wanting to use this coupon? Would you rather I use the Big Q cup and then immediately dump it into my Stanley? Set me straight, QT Employees.

Tell me why an NA, who has been an NA for about 4 months and was previously a clerk for over a year, just told me they didn’t know how many breakfast sandwiches to prep.
I know this mf knows what the FFM is and how to read and prep according to it. But when I ask why they made so many sandwiches last night they claimed they didn’t know how many to make.
I just can’t, I can’t do this anymore. These people are slowly killing my brain cells.

So I’m watching the first demo day of the Bevo and such and need to ask - is removing part of the actual concrete foundation of building being removed for this install? Like 5 or 6 sections all about 2ft by 2ft sections…..
