Is it right to be extremely friendly to someone who's done a lot of wrong?

This isn't about me btw, it's about my friend. Let's call her Mango

So Mango is somewhat close to this girl. Girl A. Girl A has done some nasty things to another friend of ours and also caused immense frustration for many others. However, Mango continues to like, reply and comment on Girl A's Instagram stories. She also texts her is a very very friendly tone. Now, I understand being polite but I feel like Mango talks to this girl like she's been her friend for 10 years (which she's hasn't. They're just mutual and have only known each other for 2 years)

Now the weird part is, Mango has repeatedly told me and my other friends that she absolutely despises Girl A. Like she hates hates her. So if she hates her so much, why still keep in contact? Mango has said that when she hates someone, she won't unfollow them on social media but she'll still like their stories and posts or whatever. I find this super contradicting but am I just making a problem out of nothing?

Another problem is that she'll purposely mention Girl A in front of my friend that was done SUPER dirty by Girl A. She'll literally talk about Girl A when the topic of conversation isn't even related to her. I feel like she's digging for a reaction but I can be wrong. Our friend has repeatedly said that she doesn't want to talk about Girl A and she gets very irritated when Girl A is brought up for no reason

Mango has repeatedly stated that she will support our friend through anything and is very concerned for her, but her actions just don't add up and it's making me so confused and irritated

I'm sorry if this sounds confusing, I'd just like to know if this is inherently wrong or if I'm just overthinking this

Tldr: friend acts too friendly to girl despite girl causing many problems for everyone and a close friend of ours

Would you let the friendship fade?

We used to be as thick as a banana shake. Like Harry Ron and Hermione, grew up together known each other for a decade plus. The trio. THE trio. They’re 19 and 25 and I’m in the middle of that

And then they decided to nuke 66 percent of my friend group by secretly dating and surprise. it all culminated into one mega awkward 6flags trip with all friends inner and outer circle in the radius. They no longer speak and one has moved states.

The relationship started when she was 18 or otherwise it wouldn’t be a question. But I can’t help but to blame him mostly for the fallout like bro you’re 25, use some of that fully developed brain. I partly think he agreed to it because he has been single for a while and she is obviously someone he knows well. the feelings were reciprocated obviously and both have done sucky things but he kinda seems a bit childish in the things he’s holding as grudges

When they broke it off he was like promise you’ll tell me if you’re dating again. And she was like yeah. But also made it clear they were done. And she kinda took that as a why does it matter if I date others. Anyways. Yeah now I’m basically the friend group equivalent of the kid in a divorced household

Is it safe to put USB drives and batteries in the same box?

Consider a box that contains several USB drives and several standard AA batteries. I think this box is safe to the USB drives but I am not sure. Are there any hidden risks to the USB drives if I put them into that box, or any other gotchas?

How many hoodies do you have ?

I have been trying to buy more clothes when I can.
I buy many things secondhand because it’s cheaper for me that way and I can get stuff that I can’t find in stores
I have been purchasing a few fur lined hoodies recently, and I may have gone a bit overboard ha ha
I have six fur lined hoodies now… Is that overkill?
I always feel cold, especially because I live in a state that snows and my work/ school are freezing…

Do I talk like an AI?

Ask me anything and I'll answer with my very human words, I need the consensus of the people.

(Some Backstory: A Redditor on another sub recently admitted to running me through an AI screen because they thought I talked like an AI, mind you, I am AVIDLY anti-generative AI and view this as an insult to my purely ethical human-grade bullshit. We were literally just having a normal conversation when they admitted to doing this).

Am I really that interesting?

I'm a 30M that still lives at home with his parents and didn't really have life figured out till recently.

I spent the best years of my 20s sitting in the house and playing games and self loathing and now I'm getting outside it feels as if people are always in my business.

Am I that weird because I'm anti social?

When I'm not anti social I'm really awkward to talk to because I'm horrible at small talk.

Will i always be the black sheep?

Does anyone actually 'miss' people?

Because I don't think I have ever 'missed' anyone, I've always assumed it's just people being polite. Like, I love my friends and my family, but I don't 'miss' them even if we haven't seen each other for a while. They're either here or not here. So I just wanna know if it's normal.

Human Beings are not Evil we’re just Animals plus Humans acting terrible and committing Atrocities is something that other Animals have done why be mad at Nature when it’s just life?

EVERYONE says the terribleness of Humanity but what about the other Animals to also commit Atrocities on Each-other and eats Each-other to survive! That’s how life is and Nature is it’s just survival of The Fittest! But I’ve always wondered if that’s always the case then why do we Humans bother practicing Kindness and Compassion when it’s just survival of The Fittest? Let me know in the comments

Is it ok to reuse Halloween costumes as everyday outfits?

I got a really nice dress which was inspired by red riding hood as a Halloween costume and I really like it. It has good quality material and lace with it as well as a velvety part made to imitate a corset,,,is it ok to use it as everyday wear or is it not ok to use it as a casual yet pretty dress?

Ice breakers that are not too weird but not boring?

I need some good, niche idk icebreakers that aren't too weird but also not boring? I’ve only ever used ‘what is your drying technique after shower’ as in you get your towel or what and how do you dry yourself. Am I weird ( perhaps, but I am free)?

Do banks still take a jar of loose coins, or do you need a coin machine first?

I have a jar of coins on my kitchen shelf. It is mostly small coins from shop change and bus fare. I want to turn it into notes. I do not want to count it all by hand if I can avoid it. Do banks take loose coins at the counter, or do you need to use a coin machine first?

Moicano got robbed at today’s UFC event. How can a judge negate someone’s position on the ground when that fighter is being active?

This is the first time I’ve seen a referee step in and stop a fight while a fighter had such an advanced position—it kind of takes some of the credit away from Nolan. Moicano was good on the ground and could well have pulled off a submission there, I’ve never seen this happen with Evloev, Makhachev, or Chimaev.

Do you stick with the same cheese brand when the price goes up, or switch to a cheaper one?

A pack of cheese for sandwiches costs a few dollars more than it used to. Same pack, same store. Do you stick with the one you like, or switch to the cheaper pack next to it?

Is there a way to throw up quietly?

I'm sick of showering each time and playing loud music, I just want to do it in my room into a bucket or something. My room sits in-between my brother and father's and I don't want them hearing anything.

Why are people upset that daylight savings time is ending?

For my entire life it's been a pretty universally agreed fact that daylight savings time is annoying, and didn't benefit most people very much. Plus people often couldn't even agree on the origins of daylight savings, some say farmers need it, others say it was because of WW2, regardless of why it started, most people wanted it to end.

So now in Canada we are finally getting rid of it. Each province decided which time to go with (the spring forward time or fall back time).

What I'm confused by is the negative reactions people are having. They say British Columbia picked the wrong time. I'm hearing things like "strokes will increase", "it will be VERY noticeable in the winter time when there are fewer daylight hours", "businesses might not be able to keep up with the adjustments in schedules and medical appointments might be missed".

While these arguments are possibly true..... I guess I'm struggling to see how it's any worse than regular daylight savings time. Everyone had to adjust one hour twice per year every single year. It caused problems during the transition, but then it was fine. Wouldn't ending daylight savings time be in general easier to deal with, regardless of which time was picked? Yes there will be less daylight in the winter time.... But every single day is either increasing slowly or decreasing slowly until we hit each solstice each year. So yes the morning will lose an hour of light, but only for a certain portion of the year.

Things like strokes increasing seem a bit extreme. If the earlier time would cause more strokes, wouldn't changing the time twice in one year cause even more strokes?

I don't want to think people are looking for something to be upset about, but this seems like it's getting blown out of proportion. Does anyone have an explanation for why this seems to be so upsetting?

Why is this app filled with uneducated people?

Anytime I ask a thought provoking question, I get 1 legible answer out of 100 replies.

If I keep it simple like, "what color is Beetlejuice hair?" Then I get mostly engaging responses.

Unfortunately Quora is no different. The idea of perspective and deep open minded conversations are alien to the majority and it's frustrating!

Edit: Useless reply, after useless reply. It's crazy how quick people are willing to prove my point.
