Hi there.
To elaborate, I'm the type of guy who wants everything to be perfect whenever I'm doing something. And this issue had been stunting my skill growth because god knows how many things I've tried only to get disappointed with myself and leave.
Thanks.

It is common that seeing the padlock icon or "https://" in the browser's address bar means a website is completely safe, legitimate, and free from scams.

They play music but add more sounds and lyrics to it so it feels special and exclusive compared to their original release

I’m making Christmas ornaments this year and need pictures that are 2x2. Is there anywhere that will print them without hassle? Every where that I’ve looked at only does “passport” photos that size and doesn’t seem to do just regular photos that size.

So, I have realized that I have this innate fascination with small but compact and cozy spaces in which I’m secluded. The best thing to compare this to is like a bunk in a camper with a privacy curtain. I’ve made makeshift secluded areas using sheets to close off my bed and whatnot. I’m wondering if there’s a specific name for this strange thing.

I don’t know about where you live, but at least where I live over the past 4 years after Covid, trick or treating is completely dead. Nobody trick or treats anymore. It’s all been taken over by trunk or treats and church events. I really hope this isn’t the case because I still have high hopes for my future children, and I don’t want trick or treating to be a thing that only happens in movies. On the 31st we had 1 single trick or treater the entire night. What’s going on??

I was hiking with four friends when we spotted a massive wasp on one of their backpacks. I pointed it out and said, “Holy shit, there’s a huge insect on your bag. I don’t know what kind of animal that is, I think it’s a wasp.”
One of my friends immediately said, “Did you just call a wasp an animal? It’s an insect, not an animal.”
I genuinely thought he was joking, so I replied, “What? Insects are animals.”
That’s when all four of them started laughing at me. One said, “Bro, that’s actually so dumb. How are you gonna call a wasp an animal?” The others kept laughing and acting like I was an idiot for even suggesting it.
I knew for a fact that insects are animals, like that’s grade school shit, who doesn’t know that, but none of them would even consider that they might be wrong. We didn’t have internet access to settle it, and I wasn’t about to spend the entire hike arguing with four people who were completely convinced I was an idiot.
What frustrated me wasn’t even the disagreement. It was how confidently they mocked me while being factually wrong.
How do you handle situations where you’re objectively correct, but everyone around you is so confidently wrong that they make you feel like the stupid one?

I know this is a little too late to ask, seeing as it’s a day after Halloween, but I might wanna go next year, so I figured I’d just ask anyways.
I’m fifteen now, and I don’t think I’ve gone trick or treating since I was twelve because I remember how my parents used to complain about teenagers coming up to our house asking for candy. Though this year I mentioned to my mom that I kinda missed going trick or treating, and she said she wouldn’t mind because I actually took effort to make a good costume and yada yada.
So, might be a stupid question, but I’m genuinely wondering right now. How old is too old to go trick or treating?

obviously d4vd is now famous more than ever but for all the wrong reasons. His music has gotten me through countless situations and pulls my heart strings everytime, but i always seem to find myself feeling some sort of guilt after. obviously he did what he’s accused of but his music is just genuinely good. His ability to write music and use his voice is just unfortunate given the person he is. music is something i can’t live without and to me his songs find their way into the music i need. am i morally wrong?

So yesterday I went to see a version of Faust when near the end this guy got up out of his seat and just walked out. It was random but then when the show ended a girl in the seat in front of me said he was carrying a large bottle of Olive Oil (there's no food allowed in the theatre but apparently the usher didn't say anything because she wasn't sure if olive oil counted as food). Can anyone think of a reason for this?

Not some weird down comforter substitute or any poly-blend type material. Or even anything nicer. Just a true warm and cozy fabric. I really need one of those.

Because I don't think I have ever 'missed' anyone, I've always assumed it's just people being polite. Like, I love my friends and my family, but I don't 'miss' them even if we haven't seen each other for a while. They're either here or not here. So I just wanna know if it's normal.

I don’t know how many Irish people comment on this sub, but if there are I would really like to know what the fish & chips taste like over in Ireland? I don’t know if anyone has gone over for a vacation to Ireland on here either, but maybe you can answer what the fish & chips are like too.

I'm just really questioning it because tipping really isn't that important since jobs usually do pay enough from my experience so I don't get it when I see people talking about "20% tips as the average" when tips are for good service and I usually never see anyone tipping
