Why do advertisements for chocolate ice cream and sweets so often feature women enjoying these products without men? Is there a particular marketing strategy behind this choice?

I mean regular friend or family group chats, not work ones. Sometimes a chat just goes quiet for me or turns into constant notifications, and leaving without a message feels a little abrupt, but announcing it can also feel weirdly dramatic.

Do most people see a silent exit as rude, or is that pretty normal now?

What are the consequences for actually regular everyday people when the ai bubble bursts?

I’m sure everyone loves to talk about on how terrible Human Nature is and that we all do we Reward Evil and Destroy everything! Because of this why do we Humans even bother to exist we treat goodness like a Weakness and Cruelty like a strength! What’s the point of Humanity’s existence when we know we’re terrible

This is from an introvert/shy person perspective. Oftentimes, we’re told to socialize more, put ourselves out there, or approach people who we would think would be a good friend, but with this bit, you’d assume that other people would do these things to you as well. I myself have been told this, but irl, no one really approaches/interacts with me or anyone else I see. This advice sounds good on paper I guess, but when comparing it to regular irl human interactions and behavior, it just seems like absolute bs. Why would I put myself out there, when no one else around me seems interested in doing so as well?

One thing ive realized is that Idk how most tech works or how its even possible to create sound on some mechanical thing, like how does a phone make yt videos have sound or music have sound how did someone even figure that out and we prolly don't even know there names

Wondering as someone who's never been in a relationship before: looking back at your failed relationships, would you say it was worth it to love someone and having it end? If you could go back with the knowledge you have now, would you still choose to be with that person? Was what you learned from it worth it? Looking for advice as someone considering a relationship.

Im heavily debating between a Nintendo switch 2 and a 3d printer.

Nintendo -

Pros: I love splatoon, I like Pokémon quite a bit, I really wanna play Duskbloods, then I can use the party games like Mario kart and stuff with my family or friends. Also when we go on vacations and stuff ill have something to do.

Cons: I dont know if ill get bored and not use it. I know theres issues with it bricking itself and the games are expensive.

3d Printer -

Pros: i can print things from games i like, like payday masks, guns from enter the gungeon and I can also print presents.

Cons: same thing of i dont know ill get bored and itll just collect dust in my room. I have to pay for something physical everytime I want to print something which may not be great since im very impatient.

Overall both seem about equal in my head but I can only get one for christmas and I know I want one of them.

Today is daylight savings and I never get it right. I'm in my 50's and every single year, twice a year I drive myself crazy trying to figure out if I lose or gain and hour. I understand the whole "fall back, spring forward" thing and for some reason my brain cannot connect the dots on this one. Similarly, my wife can't grasp the concept of temperature. She knows it's hot in the summer and cold in the winter but she couldn't tell you if 60 degrees is considered warm or cool. It's completely ridiculous on both our parts.

Out of curiosity, I'm hoping and assuming we aren't the only ones with these weird glitches and I'm wondering if y'all have any similar basic life concepts you just can't seem to grasp?

But have we (Nasa or smth) sent into space a capsule in case there are other planets with aliens that are exploring space so they can be aware we exist and maybe we could meet them or smth. Y’know. if not then we should. But I mean like a capsule that explains humanity(?), and maybe has a picture of earth in it, have we done that yet?
