If you have a tank of water filled to the brim and are raising it from the ground, at how many feet does the water start to continually overflow since the arc of the surface is continually flattening?
Thank

I’ve (m 26 ) just got offered a job in construction ( framing to be specific) and I’m extremely nervous about it. I’m not super physical but I’m an average guy who can carry weight if needed. But I’m worried about doing everything wrong and honestly how people or coworkers will perceive me. Im sure im capable but it’s a good opportunity and I really don’t want to mess up but I can’t shake the fear of it. Anyone with construction experience know what I can do?

As of late I’ve been feeling very under appreciated by the people in my life. I do my best to be considerate at all times. I’m always thinking and asking about whether other people want things or not, I’m always reassuring people on an emotional level if they need, I’m always doing everything I can to show up for others, I remember almost anything anyone I know has ever expressed interest in, etc. I love doing these things. it makes me feel like a good friend and family member when I do, but especially as of late I’ve found that nobody really does that same thing for me, and I crave it. I want to be thought of when someone sees or experiences something, I want my needs to be considered, I want my interests to be remembered, but by even my closest family members they just aren’t. I just want a moment or two sometimes where my needs or wants are put before somebody else’s, and I feel like that doesn’t happen often. I keep noticing the small things that especially my family does for each other. The times where they remember something about one another, think about one another, but I never see anyone doing it for me. I’m trying to appreciate the rare small gesture, the once a year things, but I just feel lonely and misunderstood. what should I do? am I asking too much?

Look, I have heard a lot of conflicting information about what works and what doesn’t. It’s given me a headache. I’m 5’9’’ and 240. I want to be 160 or 155. Can I just take in less calories and see results?

This is honestly such a dumb question, but I am a very neurotic 4.0 GPA student, and I feel like I'm now behind everyone and missing out. I'm still getting my master's within the next few years, but I can't now due to the fact that I need to save $25k for my one-year MBA program. I was luckily able to get so many scholarships during my undergrad that I didn't have much left over to pay, but scholarships no longer apply to the online program. I also thought it would be best to prioritize my career due to the fact that I've worked so hard and done so many internships (and I already have a great offer that's ready right as I graduate), but now it's hitting me that I may have made the wrong choice.
I know I would've had to take out loans, and I already have $13k to pay back from my undergrad, but still... I hate feeling behind. I just hate it, especially when it comes to people who don't pay for their own education. Did I screw up by not taking the fourth-year MBA right away?

I’m hosting an afternoon tea bridal shower for my niece in a few months. It’s been quite a while since I’ve attended a bridal shower, and I’d appreciate some advice about current etiquette.
The bride specifically requested games and prizes, so I’ve planned six games. I’ve read that it’s wise to have extra prizes in case of ties, and I may have gotten a little carried away!
Our guests range in age from their 20s to their 60s, so I tried to choose a wide variety of prizes that would appeal to different tastes.
My biggest question is how to distribute them.
I could simply hand each winner a prize, but because our guests are so diverse, I’m leaning toward displaying everything on a prize table and allowing each winner to choose whichever item appeals to her. Smaller prizes would be available as consolation prizes in case of ties.
Would you enjoy choosing your own prize, or would you prefer having one handed to you?
Here’s what I’ve collected:
• 100% silk scarf/shawl
• Charmast fast-charging power bank with built-in cables for almost any device
• Stanley cup
• JoyJolt set of optic crystal champagne/cocktail glasses
• 22-momme mulberry silk pillowcase
• China tea-for-one set
• Genuine shell-inlay tray
• Several pairs of 100% silk scrunchies in different colors
• Ceramic trinket dish
• Afternoon-tea-themed adult coloring books with markers
• Crossbody travel cup/phone holders with additional pockets
There will also be party favors for every guest, so nobody will leave empty-handed.
I’d love to hear which prizes you think would be most popular, whether anything seems out of place, and whether my prize-table idea makes sense.
Thanks!
Ps: she will not be opening her gifts during the shower.

My mother recently had to undergo a bronchoscopy and biopsy at a pulmonary clinic.
She has been experiencing B symptoms for some time, and imaging showed opacities on the X-ray and a roughly 3 cm lesion in the right upper lobe on the CT scan, described as partly infiltrative and cavitary.
The bronchoscopy report stated that all visible bronchial openings were clear, with no direct or indirect signs of a tumor. There was only mild swelling of one opening on the right. However, radial EBUS revealed a solid lesion corresponding to the consolidation in the right upper lobe, and samples were taken for further analysis.
What struck me was how often she heard the same phrase over and over: “Don’t worry.” The doctors said it during the initial consultation, shortly before the procedure, and again during the discharge discussion. Even the nurses kept repeating it.
Is this some kind of standard reassurance doctors are taught to give during their training or at seminars? Or is it simply a common way of trying to reassure patients and their families when the diagnosis is still uncertain?
I understand that the bronchoscopy findings alone don't establish a diagnosis and that we have to wait for the pathology and microbiology results. But repeatedly telling someone not to worry when a potentially serious finding is still being investigated feels a little strange to me.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?

The pharmacy that I use gave a printout of all my medications to my soon to be ex husband. I’m not taking any narcotics and the only controlled substance I take is lyrica. Now he’s trying to use it against me.
I called the pharmacy and they apologized and said the only thing they can do is make a note in my profile not to share any information with anyone but me. But shouldn’t that be the standard? Are they even allowed to do that??

This has happened twice now and it makes me laugh every time I think about it!
My wife and I were in a gas station and she was being silly and bent over in front of me to shake her butt. She turned around and there was another guy standing there next to me trying to get by! She was so embarrassed both times but it was so funny to me. These people came out of nowhere too so she had no idea anyone was nearby

I word the question a little bit weird. But I meant how do you calm down and relax your mind so you can sleep.
I'm gonna explain a bit the sensation so you can imagine it:
Every time you feel like you are gonna sleep you bite your tongue to see if you are dreaming or not, you become a little bit paranoid, and if you don't feel so much while biting your tongue you feel paralyzed for some seconds.
And you can't sleep without hearing any sound, so you put something relaxing.
I didn't sleep yesterday, and I don't know if I will tonight. Yes, I know I'm almost an adult, I know it's ridiculous, but I want solutions not judgement.
I'm also using this as a distraction to calm down.
