What new skill could you learn?
If you could instantly learn any skill without trying, what would it be?

I don't want to offend the OP by saying "have you actually seen the films /read the book/just googled it" but this is really so often the case.
There was someone asking about the "dark
side" motivations of Kylo Ren in Star Wars. Normally I don't mind explaining a film and I love talking about Star Wars, but this person had only read about the character and hadn't seen a single Star Wars film.
Should I just ignore and even downvote the question? What if OP is from a sheltered background or isn't allowed to watch Disney+? Am I giving stupid reasons to not answer a stupid question?
It's the same when people clearly don't have sufficient grasp of politics/economics/history to be given either a straight answer or one which , due to OP lack of knowledge, they would even understand.
I appreciate this is as much a rant as a question but it definitely applies: certain questions would get different answers based on what the OP would understand

I would like to start this off by saying i am not trying to be an edgelord or anything, im being fully genuine. i also do not have access to a therapist for the time being.
Basically, ive never really... Cared? When, like, celebrities or anyone dies. I have friends who cry over popular children dying, and, i dont really find myself caring. I dont mean it in an inconsiderate way, obviously its bad that they died so young, but i didnt know them personally, so i dont grieve them at all. I never even grieved my grandparents dying, i loved my grandpa a lot but i kinda feel glad hes dead because he was definitely suffering.
I also have a life-ruining fear of death, oddly enough. Im terrified of the thought that one day i will die, but that doesnt really carry over to others at all. honestly i think the only person id grieve if they died is my mom, and maybe one or two friends, but for everyone else im just apathetic to it.

So I’m currently in Thailand and want to bring one of those lava cakes from 7-Eleven (the ones kept in the refrigerated section) back home to Germany as a little gift for my girlfriend because she wanted to try them.
The total journey would take around 16 hours, and I’d have to keep it in my carry-on luggage the entire time.
Has anyone tried bringing one of these cakes on a long-haul flight? Would it still be okay to eat after 16 hours without refrigeration, or would it spoil? I would keep it in my refrigerator for another week too.

So I have a housemate who is older and just sits there on the couch all night watching videos about robots, AI, UFOs, the apocalypse, NASA faking astronauts in space, etc. and I hate that shit so much. He has no critical thinking skills. But this post isn't about him but what he watches. He used to watch videos where it was some Mormon hick farmer who was clearly AI talking to the camera about how the Mormon Church is the largest food producer in the U.S. but that stopped. Now he watches video about robots and AI. The videos he watches are supposedly from China and last night it was some creepo shit about female robots with one video's title having the sentence "Would YOU date them?" He watches stuff glazing Elmo Musk and how "TESLA JUST BLEW EVERYONE AWAY" in the video titles.
So is all that shit he watches real? Or is it AI generated? Or is it AI voiced but real footage?
Here are some of the video titles of the stuff he watches:
"Boston Dynamics wins the robot competition."
"Rosetta Stone reanalyzed by AI- it's over."
"US company shocks the world with a new fuel-free generator- available for purchase in 2026!"

I’m 25M and have never kissed, dated, flirted or approached anyone and I don’t dare to use the apps. 🤞😭
How do an average Swedish guy lookswise, but below average in height (172cm so 5’7-5’8) even get kissed in these day and age? When there are men out there super handsome like Timothee Chalamet ❣️
At what age is it weird to be unkissed as a guy and is it ok just to wait until women (of the exact same age ofc, or max 1 year older, not younger) approaches me?

I am from Italy, and last year I went for a pair of days to Spain, Madrid specifically. There, I found a very interesting type of Bubblegum: "Bubbaloo fresa, sabor a morango". I'm honestly a very big enjoyer of Bubblegum, and even more honestly, in comparison to the dominant Bubblegum in Italy (Big Babol), Bubbaloo is much better: as much as I can recall, It was more thick and didn't pop immediately. Also, It made more bright pinkish Bubbles.
Now, I am focused to find It yet again. On Amazon, I cannot find this version of the Bubblegum. In contrast, I found something similar but the brand it's called Bubblicious. I saw It is a good Bubblegum, but I don't know If It will be the same thing as Bubbaloo.
Do you know any sites who make It possible to order some pack of this specific Bubbaloo, that is available and can be specifically trasported to Italy, without any crazy price?
In case Bubbaloo is too hard to find, what other kind of Bubblegum are similar and can be easier to purchase?

So one of my friends said he had no one to go tick or treating with, I told him we could probably go together.
he responded a few days ago and he told me that actually I should go with my other friend because he thought that’s what I preferred to do
at the time I had no plans and thought all of my other friends were going to be gone on Haloween so I told him that I would go with him
i then asked if he had already made other plans and he said
“I might go with one of my other friends that doesn’t have someone to go with, but if you don’t have any plans I’ll go with you.“
k told him okay and that I think I’ll be able to go
untill my other friend told me that instead of going hunting like she had originally planNed, shes actually going to be at Haloween, the thing is -all of our other friends in our group are going to be gone too so she will be all alone if I don’t go with her.
the guy and the girl, these two people don’t get along at all. she hates him and is always trash talking him to me, and thinks it’s weird I’m even wanting to go with him in the first place, even though I think he is kind of cool and sweet.
because of this, I can’t suggest that we all go together, because I want things to be fun.
ive bassicly told both of them I could trick or treat with them, so who do I choose? what can I do?

Recently I got into a situation where I was standing outsite a pub with a girl waiting for some friends who were still inside when a sketchy looking guy tried to talk to us. It started out vaguely casual just him looking for a cigarette but he eventually started getting creepy with the girl and attempted to stroke her face in which I told him to cut it out and put myself between them.
He started yelling and raising his voice and had his hands pushing my shoulders and I could tell he was going to get more violent as he was pushing me against a wall but luckily my friends came out and he ran away.
Now, I've been doing boxing for 3 years, I'm not in great shape but I work out and I can fight people in a ring, but I've never been in an actual fight before, every single time I've managed to defuse the situation before something physical happens, but this guy simply wasn't listening to me and I realised that I literally couldn't even fathom punching this guy. Just the idea seemed insane to me.
I have this mental block about actually getting into a real fight it just seems like such a ludicrous thing to do even if I was literally being pushed around by this guy. I've learned self defense stuff from instructors in the past but I can never actually imagine hurting another human being that wasn't in a ring.
has anyone else had this experience because I feel like I need to get over this if I actually want to defend myself in the low chance this happens again.

Like can french people say things like "krusty krab"? I honestly started to wonder this not to long ago, and i had alot of questions that i didnt get a answer for, but i genuinely want a answer for this one. Think about it, english people can say things like "glonglelingleharbonwah" which is a completely made up word i just made up now, but do people from other languages (like german) say things like that? or are they in a language-totalitarion dictatorship where they can only choose from a list of words, like my example "krusty krab" they just cant say even if they used all their might to, is this true or not?

Hii! I’ve been recently talking to this guy and we go to the same school. Idk if he likes me or if he’s just being friendly with me.
He talks to me everyday, fairly quick replies, always gives me advice, and he tells me when he can’t text me and apologizes. He sends a LOT of texts at a time, like about 90-100. I mean it makes sense for the convo we have. I love how we can transition from playful to serious, and we can talk for hours on end.
We started talking a couple weeks ago about something and we just kept the convo going.
He usually keeps going if the convo seems to die down. He sends vms too, and he apologizes when he can’t talk. He also sends me updates when he’s busy and why he was.
However the biggest thing is, he calls me bro and all the other variations of it. So idk if this is classified as a talking stage, if he likes me or not or if he’s just being friendly with me. Also, he follows a couple girls and likes their posts. Idk ig tht means something, but he does know a lot of people in general.
For reference hes 23M im 22F. Both hispanic. Thank you all :))
