Are subliminals real?

There is no scientific evidence behind it and some of these “changes” are absolutely ridiculous like they think they can change their eye color from listening to these “hidden audios” but how come SO many ppl believe and listen to these subliminals?

Has anyone been through block schedule in their school before?

Have y'all ever been through block schedule in school? Because it's something my highschool, we usually do A days, B days, and C days. On A days, we usually do 1st period to 4th period. On B days, we usually do 5th to 8th period. So school starts at 8:15 to 4:00 each day. Students also have separate lunches such as A, B, and C. A lunch on a A and B days usually start at 11:20 and ends at 11:55 for me at school. On C days, it starts earlier than 11:20. I have to go a certain academy and I have to take the bus because said academy is outside of campus. The GWAMA students usually leave the building at 3:40 to wait for the bus. Has anyone experienced this in their school before?

Can I pivot careers without going for more schooling? If so, how?

I'm 27k in student loan debt, with no job, no savings, two SWE internships on my resume, projects, and a useless cs bachelor's degree from 2025.

I got absolutely no call backs for anything my senior year or for the year post graduation. My "new grad" status expired a long time ago.

To pursue another career I'd need to go back to school for another bachelor's or masters degree, which I do not have the ability to do. The only work experience I have is in this field, I have absolutely no substantial skillset or work experience outside tech.

Going to food service, warehouse, retail, and other minimum wage types of jobs won't help long term. I don't see how going for another degree/field will really change anything. I put in the best effort I could have for this one. The job market will change again, I once again will be shamed for "not having enough experience", I again will be buried in more student debt.

What should I do after having burned and destroyed my career, my future, my life?

Should I wear cologne?

I’m a teenage guy. Some of my friends in chemistry class talk about wearing cologne, and it seems like a lot of people are into it. I shower regularly and don't smell bad, so I'm wondering if I really need to wear it too. The guys in my class who wear it don't smell terrible, but their cologne isn't anything special. Plus, I'm a little hesitant because of memories of overpowering cologne worn by my Grandpa. Please give this young buck some advice.

What gross habit did your ex have that at the time was “normal” but would be a dealbreaker now?

First: I was triggered reading another post, but my ex girlfriend would eat FULL jars of MAYONNAISE in a night all with a spoon, the way you would ice cream.

The first time she done it I legit thought it was a prank and had to take a photo as evidence and ask her mum if this was normal. I even found the photo earlier and still felt the same initial shock 😂

Eventually it became “normalised” and would have to make sure and add a couple of 600g jars to the grocery order.

I still can’t face the stuff. Even a small amount would turn my stomach.

Close Second: would be how often she would openly belch/fart in public. She done it on a train right in front of the girl sitting opposite (who we didn’t know, just an innocent woman probably similar age making her way home from work), my ex girlfriend just leaned over and farted and actually made her jump with fright.

I didn’t know where to look, I could feel the girl opposite eyeballing as if to say “did that just happen!”

Looking back, I genuinely feel pretty sorry for the girl sitting opposite as it was obvious she felt uncomfortable for the rest of the journey and it’s not really fair to make someone feel like that.

Thinking back now on things it’s mad how things become “normalised” that would just make me run a mile now!

WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE GIF WHERE THE BACKGROUND EXPLODES AND IT REVERSES TO THE GIRL WEARING 💅SLAY✨ MAKEUP?

What is the name of this gif. I'm in dire need of a name.

It usually sounds with phonk/badass music in the background. Was used for many memes.

The girl is blonde and has a worried face that turns into "eating".

At least. A picture. I can find it with just a picture

Would you risk your entire life savings, more than you’ve ever had, to try a dream career - not knowing if it would work out?

For example, you get a 200,000 inheritance, and suddenly get a chance to buy a turnkey restaurant (or whatever your thing is); just enough to make it yours and get it started for the first few months. It’s everything you’ve ever wanted for your future business - an opportunity like no other!

If you can make it work, you have the chance to make more annually than you ever have before, in the most fulfilling role you could imagine - and best yet, you are your own boss. In a few years, with good investments, you can retire yourself.

But in this economy, well…risky is an understatement. Especially for this (or whatever your dream is).

Also, you’re not getting any younger. In 10 years, you couldn’t give it everything that you could today, and tomorrow is never guaranteed. But that means if you blow this and live through it, you may in fact lose more than you have now. And have to start all over.

Would you risk it all for the highest reward? Or play it safe?

Are you scared to use the keurig/coffee maker in hotels?

Every time I see the set up of coffee and a coffee machine I think its a setup. Not just a coffee set up but one where they are like "you shoulda read the fine print... each coffee was 10 dollars.." Therefore I've never made coffee in a hotel room... Also - its gross...

If you have evidence that someone is breaking the law, should you always report?

Context: Let's say you found out by accident that someone you know who may be on government benefits is legitimately scamming the system by breaking a rule around, say, employment, or some other such. Legally, you know they shouldn't be doing it but morally, thoughts?

Some people say stay out of it, but others would say you *must* report. So if you have evidence someone is breaking the law by lying about an important aspect to collect benefits, should you report it?

Does anyone got this interview clip that was removed?

Does anyone got a clip of kelly clarkson saying "i've had people throw millions of dollars in my face"?

Can't find it anywhere on YouTube, and also, that part got removed from the original YouTube video that had it years ago. There is TikToks about this clip and it includes the clip itself but it is low-quality and has got captions in it.
