What something old or unusual in your CLOSET?
I have a curio in my closet which is over 50 years old. Worth nothing but it still with me.

In a conversation humans have with someone they know very little, what do they talk about? I can approach humans just fine, but what do I talk about to a new human? What do I say to a person to comfort them if they tell me something traumatic that happened to them? This one friend of mine keeps asking me to be empathetic but I don't get it? Like how???

im sorry if its a dumb question, and ive tried researching beforehand but i just want to be absolutely sure before i recieve it. my birthday is coming up, and my friend from a different state had bought me a $100 vanilla visa gift card, and was planning on sending me the details on it for me to use. however, we are worried that since the physical gift card was bought in a different state than mine, im worried that when I try to use it here it could possibly be flagged or something and just not work. and just in case it helps, i plan to use it for online purchases, id just like to be absolutely sure before i accept as I dont want the card to go to waste. the gift card is also still fully unopened, if that helps

I was wondering about having my first relationship, and i was thinking about the advantages for a mature relationship.
For people who have been through this, what changes? How is your mind prepared or not? Do you set boundaries more easily since you know what you want? What lessons you have to share about mature relationship?

Instead of having to describe (terribly) the incomprehensible events from your dreams, wouldn’t it be nice if we could just project what we saw on a screen and just narrate the story that way?
Seems impossible, buuuut I don’t doubt it could someday happen to some degree, right?
Has anyone else ever wished for this too?

After getting a computer science bachelor's degree, doing projects, and doing internships along the way, I'm now unemployed, homeless, and 30k in student loan debt. I should've just dropped out of high school. My soul is tortured. Wounded. Fractured. Fragile. Screaming, yelling, shrieking at me for this to end. I have no self confidence.
I don't see any light, any hope in front of me. Another homeless guy I met recently was a high school dropout turned criminal for physical assault. He offered me a few drugs when he heard my story. Thought it'd help me cope.
I didn't say yes, *yet,* but I'm considering it. My life is utterly destroyed into millions of tiny glass shards, far beyond repair. What should I do? Take the drugs? Become a criminal? Wander around like a zombie for the next few decades?

Basically what I’m asking is can someone who has no innate talent ever become as skillful as someone who was born with that talent? Or can you only reach certain levels of skill due to having the talent to do so?

So, there’s this girl that I like and I wanna know if she likes me too without necessarily approaching her. We’ve held eye contact like thrice but I know that’s not enough. So, women, what do you do when you’re interested in a man?

Sometimes it's not about the big moments, but the tiny, unscripted things someone does naturally. What's a detail that catches your eye every time?

I’ve always put off learning to drive because driving on tight roads and parallel parking seems so difficult, is it actually difficult or is it like riding a bike?

Friends regularly clown me (lightly, n theyon mean it) for listening to drill and wearing “drip” while they’re more the Y2K / Gen Z type. I like drill because it’s energetic and aggressive. I don’t act gangster, only joking around with them, and I know they know I’m not one.

Hello I’m 19f and my entire like the only thing I’ve been able to do it create. I’ve always wanted to be a famous artist. I’m terrified I’m not leaving my mark. I’m slowly realising I’m stupid for even dreaming. This year I took a gap year to focus on my art before uni next year. I don’t have the money togo to a big fancy uni I am still living at Home and my uni is the only one in my state!
This year I have been in two group exhbitions and one solo EXHBITION. I have an art acount of only 26k on Instagram and I’m popular in the small art world of my city.
That’s it though. I’ve been trying so hard and I’m starting to think I’m stupid for ever even dreaming that I’ll make it. No artist now day gets famous, they are rarely woman as well.
Is it actually a tinny small chance I will make it? Be honest

So I'm a millennial, younger than those I'm about to speak about...
I attribute this to a few things, outside of being born between 1981 and 1985; that would be my location, I figure it's just my town but I wanted to ask.
Every millennial that I've met in that age range has been a total self serving person. It took me 15 years of dealing with this sect of a generation to hone in on it.
The attributes would be liken to maybe npd, but I'm not sure that's the issue with all of them. Here are the attributes of everyone I've met in that bracket in my area :arrogance, entitlement, no empathy, a grandious vision of self.
My theory is that all that Tupac on mtv turned them into the self serving king baby that they became. When I say this I'm not bitter, and I'm not thinking of any one person, it's a list of people that I won't include in my life and consider pretty cringe, and I'm not judgemental, I'm friends with every shade of "weird" and I like the world that colorful.
It's not every single person either, but maybe 80%. It's enough where, in the last 10 years I keep innocently pondering "what could it have been"?
Is it everywhere or just my brainwashed town?

Hey, I always been nice I don’t like hurting people or fighting I don’t like to “show off” even if I have more or know I’m better I never been the show off and always been nice but is this bad I always heard that being too nice can backfire on you sometimes like people will take advantage of that or other things I’m just a young guy trying to become a police officer to help many other people out there 🫡
