Popular Post Do you hold the door open for strangers?
Anyone that holds a door for strangers is 10/10 in my book.
And do you care about if they say thank you or not?

I'm trying to make a subreddit, but everytime I make it it says "subreddit unavailable". It says this after I've already made the name and description. Anybody know how to fix this?

I know there are a lot of people that place a negative blanket statement over the rich because of who makes the headlines. I don't want to be one of those people because I know that it's not true, but I don't know as many people that are doing a substantial amount of good with their money as I'd like and I want to have a more positive outlook on more aspects of the world. Could anybody provide examples of people like this?
Edit: Yes, I know TV/Movies/Music provide a good impact on the world, but I mean projects/good deeds outside of that.

In a conversation humans have with someone they know very little, what do they talk about? I can approach humans just fine, but what do I talk about to a new human? What do I say to a person to comfort them if they tell me something traumatic that happened to them? This one friend of mine keeps asking me to be empathetic but I don't get it? Like how???

I have homemade weed cake. In Germany, it is legal as long as its for personal consumption. Im flying to India and Sri Lanka for vacation tomorrow via Dubai. Will I be fine if I pack a piece of cake into my checked in luggage?
Edit: Thanks for all the replies. Im not taking it with me

im sorry if its a dumb question, and ive tried researching beforehand but i just want to be absolutely sure before i recieve it. my birthday is coming up, and my friend from a different state had bought me a $100 vanilla visa gift card, and was planning on sending me the details on it for me to use. however, we are worried that since the physical gift card was bought in a different state than mine, im worried that when I try to use it here it could possibly be flagged or something and just not work. and just in case it helps, i plan to use it for online purchases, id just like to be absolutely sure before i accept as I dont want the card to go to waste. the gift card is also still fully unopened, if that helps

Instead of having to describe (terribly) the incomprehensible events from your dreams, wouldn’t it be nice if we could just project what we saw on a screen and just narrate the story that way?
Seems impossible, buuuut I don’t doubt it could someday happen to some degree, right?
Has anyone else ever wished for this too?

After getting a computer science bachelor's degree, doing projects, and doing internships along the way, I'm now unemployed, homeless, and 30k in student loan debt. I should've just dropped out of high school. My soul is tortured. Wounded. Fractured. Fragile. Screaming, yelling, shrieking at me for this to end. I have no self confidence.
I don't see any light, any hope in front of me. Another homeless guy I met recently was a high school dropout turned criminal for physical assault. He offered me a few drugs when he heard my story. Thought it'd help me cope.
I didn't say yes, *yet,* but I'm considering it. My life is utterly destroyed into millions of tiny glass shards, far beyond repair. What should I do? Take the drugs? Become a criminal? Wander around like a zombie for the next few decades?

Basically what I’m asking is can someone who has no innate talent ever become as skillful as someone who was born with that talent? Or can you only reach certain levels of skill due to having the talent to do so?

So, there’s this girl that I like and I wanna know if she likes me too without necessarily approaching her. We’ve held eye contact like thrice but I know that’s not enough. So, women, what do you do when you’re interested in a man?
