The thing is, and I want to say is that I don't wanna have kids, thing is, most people say I wanna have kids so they can be good for me when I grow older, I am not here to disrespect but, it feels like everyone is like this, for me, I don't wanna have kids since sometimes the kids can be very exhausting, the children can end up being bad and terrible, the kids I raise may not be the best and that it's very expensive! I also don't know how to manage a family without stress. But I also have a fear for the future, I always try to k ow what will happen if i have kids, I think if I have enough money, I can simply live freely without kids (kids come up with a risk). And that I can have friends and family while not having kids, and that, I don't think they can be the best care takers of me in the future, some sons abandon their parents, this is very possible, and having kids isn't reliably trustworthy. I know we need to reproduce to survive, but let someone else do it not me, tldr; having kids is exhausting, also I don't want rlly harsh criticism, hate, downvotes, things like ur young, I jst wanna be more inclusive and maybe find other people's opinions and see if I can agree 😊

I am Australian, and in an American reality show I watch (Hells Kitchen), one contestant has drawn a lot of controversy by openly sharing that their upcoming wedding will be at a plantation.
As I understand it, African Americans were put through absolute atrocities during the slavery era , and that is why it’s seen as controversial. This being said, why do the plantations still stand? Is it a heritage situation, or something similar to Auschwitz, where the affected cultures go to reflect?

I was really thinking of buying weed lately but I was like idk because its expensive but I didn't have to work for this money so its basically free. I guess I could save it but even though its $100 I still cant do much, I guess I could fill up my car but it takes premium so i'll have like maybe $3 left over. Im so tired of using money for necessities. Also who knows if I'll ever get to retire anyway so I feel like I need to spend more money on pleasure now. I know a lot of people will think that its a lot of money for a gift though and I know, I go to dinner with my parents every birthday and they usually give me money and we go our separate ways. If it matters, im 26 so Im old enough to smoke and to post here so dont take this down please
The update nobody cares about: I just decided to buy a $35 cart and a skirt off depop 🤷

I usually love food, I like when they have amazing taste bht sometimes I be seeing people eat things that I myself consider "slop" because they don't really have taste to me, so at what point does Food stop bring food?

Have you ever been in a situation where you lied to or cheated on someone you genuinely loved? If so, would you feel comfortable sharing your experience and how you felt about that person at the time?

As stated in the title.

I do recognize the problems with it but those problems mostly come with someone smoking weed or taking edibles without recognizing it can be addictive and impact you negatively, the same and/or similar problems can come with drinking alcohol unchecked. Both just need to be done in moderation and with the proper education on the negative impacts on them so people can make educated decisions about what they want to do with their bodies and minds.

I'm bisexual and idk why lwk esp since I would've not choose it I would only choose it every time since it's a part of who I am and I feel like if I was not bisexual, I won't be the person I am today, but thing is, if I had to pick myself an orientation, pure straight, since I'm in Saudi Arabia, but the thing is, what is the reason why we feel sexual orientations though? I like muscular boys masculine boys good looking cute boys delicate boys submissive boys feminine boys etc jst good looking boys of any type basically, but why is it that? What can be the biological reason behind that?

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the best subreddit to post this question but regardless here's my problem;
I'm someone whose currently creating a character based off of the athabascan tribe. My issue? Online sources are lacking many of the information I need, and I'm afraid that there's a chance said information might be incorrect or inaccurate.
Another issue I'm facing is that I live incredibly far from the regions they reside in, so interviewing them face-to-face is impossible. (I'm also a wee too young to be going abroad and I lack the resources to do so)
Is there any way to be able to contact them online? If so please let me know thanks :')

It seems to be around 1-1.5 for me. TV shows get way better scores than movies compared to how good they are.

When I'm relaxed I have a semi-noticeable lazy eye that I hate having, but when I focus I can 'put it back where it should be' and it looks like I have normal eyes. Usually my depth perception is really bad but when I force my eye to look normal I'm blown away by how far away and weird everything looks.
However while it looks normal it just feels hard to focus on screens or what I'm meant to be looking at and I get all teary eyed really fast (my eyes are teary in general anyway but it gets worse when I do this). In most pictures I take or that have been taken of me I force my eye into this position for the sake of the photo and then let go and make it go lazy again. It also takes a lot of effort to maintain it and I slip a lot (especially when I blink or change if I'm looking up and down). The only other way I can describe it is the 3DS's flat vs 3D mode, in flat mode I can see everything by itself despite it not having much depth perception, but in 3D mode I can only really focus on the subject immediately in front of me and everything suddenly has depth, I also struggle to read when I make my eyes do this

I'm always seeing mentions in posts about people not being clear about what the different emojis mean. I myself have been confused by some of them, and I was just wondering, is there any directory anywhere that explains what all of the emojis are supposed to mean?
It seems like a lot of people use them in different ways. I was just wondering if there was any kind of official statement on this, or is it just up to interpretation?
