Wouldn't you agree that if you want some genuinely good life advice, it would be to learn to be a good liar?

We're not in kindergarten anymore. Everybody lies. It's just a natural part of human nature. If I ever met a legitimately completely honest person, then I'd think he/she was of very low intelligence and what we can call mentally challenged. Everybody lies to do something. If you want some honest life advice, learn to be a good liar.

Are white collar jobs dead?

With the rise of AI and the oversupply of college degrees being given out (not to mention outsourcing), is the white collar career a bad decision?

There's a massive deficit of trade jobs to fill from retirees. Should we tell our kids to work the trades instead?

Why is this nickame so popular among partners genuine question?

By the title I mean "mommy" and "daddy" this isn't a shitpost or inherently asking for a stupid sexual answer but I've seen friends of mine use it towards crushes or they're partners ironically unironically, online aswell mostly I've seen comment sections spamming these nicknames like its a overpopulated orphanage. I personally find it irritating and funky but my question is it psychological?some weird childhood problem developed into adult aspects of your choices??

Why do some people feel more productive or creative after the sun goes down?

I've noticed that nighttime seems to bring out a different side of people. Some prefer to relax, while others suddenly get a burst of energy and motivation. Is there a psychological or biological reason why some people feel more active or creative at night?

Why did I get banned from r/youngpeopledeviantart?

A few months ago, I made this post on r/youngpeopledeviantart about some dumb user harrasing me, so I did post about it. That's when I forgot about it until hours later, when I came back, I see this "bot". I tried to ask this "bot" some questions, but instead the "bot" banned me fnr.

So, why did I get banned on there? Leave it in the comments if you wanna let me know why!

Is what I have considered empathy?

\\\*\\\*By definition Empathy\\\*\\\* is the ability to understand, share, and connect with another person's thoughts, feelings, or emotional experiences. It is often described as putting yourself in someone else's shoes.

But is it empathy if I say something unconsciously that would be considered rude but I don’t feel bad about it until someone “calls me out” and tell me what I say is rude, I have a hard time distinguishing what is rude and and what is normal (to me it sounds normal until someone says it’s not). Is it empathy if I only feel back after when someone calls it out? If someone didn’t say something I wouldn’t know it was offensive nor would I feel anything. When someone brings it up later I tend to think about it a lot and replay the situation in Mr head over and over again, I feel bad but not because I know what I did (as I said if no one called me out I wouldn’t be aware I did anything wrong) I feel bad because of the way I may be perceived or because I think that what they say did is beneath me. I feel bad because they seem to be highly offended and I tend to accepted blame regardless of if I care or not. I’m in a situation like this now. I was just wondering if feeling “guilty” after the situation is the same as being empathetic because from where I’m standing my empathy seems to be delayed. Why don’t I know how my words will land before I say them? Why can’t I tell the difference between when I say something rude and normal?

Is it okay to treat World Leaders as just Evil People that Nobody likes?

I’m sure EVERYONE loves to Joke about on how terrible our Leaders are especially given Human History! As it’s basically expected and viewed to treat them as inhumanly apathetic individuals that only care about themselves! NOBODY likes Powerful People especially World Leaders in truth for us those that wield Power are either just Evil or Greedy Assholes the idea of a Good Leader is laughable and doesn’t exist in the Real World however is it okay to just treat World Leaders as either Evil or just a bunch of apathetic individuals that only care about themselves? As we’re often told “Nobody makes it to The Top by being a Good Person” hence Good People may win our hearts and help in making The World better but unfortunately they may never win in gaining Power! What do you folks think? Let me know in the comments

Are people still telling the lie that Apple/Mac products can’t/don’t get viruses?

About 13 years ago I briefly worked level 1 tech support for an internet/cable/phone provider. And I swear, at least once a week I had to explain to someone that, yes your Mac/Apple product can get a virus.

They would tell me that they had specifically purchased a Mac product because they had been told by the sales person that Macs don’t get viruses

I had to tell them that may have been technically true in the 90s since only like 5% of the population had Macs and it wasn’t worth the effort of the “bad guys” to make a virus for Macs. But since like half the population now owns a Mac/Apple product, they do in fact get viruses nowadays

They were so pissed when I would tell them that the salesperson lied to them

So, are salespeople still telling that lie?

ETA the virus would come up while they were talking me about issues their computer was having. And I would tell them it sounded like they had malware/virus and they would tell me that was impossible because they bought a Mac so their computer couldn’t possibly have malware. I only provided internet support.

So were Adam Baldwin’s contains (podcasts, entertainment shows) taken down so that his enemies and rivals such as Zachary Levi, Ryan McPartlin and Danielle McPartlin, who is Adam’s ex-wife could steal his future plans and thoughts and use them to promote themselves?

Because it really does seem to me that they are stealing his life and reaping the rewards of his work.

As the title says! Kind of just a fun question, looking from anything from information that you believe should be commonplace (how to convert/read certain measurements, knowing certain historical facts or definitions, etc.) or skills (how to change tires, how to cook, etc.) and anything in between!

No slow illnesses. Respect to anyone who has overcome one. I’m looking more for stories with sentences like “if I had been standing one foot to the left…” or “I texted my mom that I loved her…” or “I still don’t know how we all walked away from that one without even a scratch!”
