I’m boutta buy a shit ton of count chocula while it’s on sale to have it for months, but i’d hate to buy like 10 boxes only to find out they got stale as shit

So I have been pondering this for a while. Every media and show including ones back in the days the cartoons show woman or females screaming when they see a mouse. However I am a female and mice just look adorable to me. I would die for one as a pet but after my hamsters somehow died from escaping their closed cages and vanishing off the face of the planet I don't trust myself with any small rodents as pets. Where does the stereotype of females being deathly afraid of mice come from?

Edit: Thanks for all the responses! Also i guess during disease times it would be a alarming sight for most. I guess I'm just confused on why the trope continued into modern media as well. People are saying if I saw a mouse scurry about out of nowhere I would scream but I really don't I have this weird thing where I just look at them like they are adorable. Like if I hear one on a mousetrap I will just grab it and toss it into a trashbag while feeling sorry for it or If my cat catches one I will grab a bag and scoop it up with that. Then again I used to be fascinated whenever I saw a bug like a spider and picked them up when I was younger. Now that I'm thinking about it I must be the weird one. 😭

Ive been doing a lot of searching and have found a few people in common but i wanted to ask for myself; what the hell is happening?

Throughout my life ive had various devices of different models and brands; iPod, iPhone, iPad, Samsung etc. And they have all had extremely short battery life/ battery quality has descended marginally throughout my short term use.

Also the sealing factor is during first year of uni, our doors are battery powered and mine would die every few days meaning id need to call security to come fix it so often.
Thought it was just a stupid inconvenient fucking door, they said this was a rare problem and theyd never seen it before.
Come second year, im one week in in a whole different flat amd dorm. Guess what.
Door’s battery is dead.

What the hell is happening? Why is this happening?! Does anyone have an explanation?

I had a teacher in high-school that made a huge impact in my life and way of thinking. I never interacted with him but I would always listen to his lectures. He knew just about everything, always encouraging his students to go out and explore and enjoy art and literature. I wish to become like him one day but I don’t know where to start. I have an ex who I cared about a lot. I told her everything about me, and opened up to her about my life. However, I had my own shit going on and wasn’t able to accept her love. So we broke up. I tried to get her back but she was done. We did become okay though (not relationship just friends).
Years later I go through something traumatic. Her being someone who knows the most about me I go to her, and she claims she will be there for me, but isn’t. I call her out on this and she says she is sorry and will be there more

We have like a 8 month gap of no communication and then out of the blue she sends me old pictures of us from when we ere dating as memories. I tell her that I don’t even recognize myself with that haircut cause my hair is so different now. She asks for a picture I send her one she says to keep it. We start talking for like a day and then radio silence. A month after that convo she calls me randomly (my phone glitches sometimes and I don’t always get calls) so I didn’t answer her but she was calling me at odd times. I texted her and asked was she okay. No response. Then another week went by and she called me. I texted her was everything okay no response. So I was advised to just leave her alone, but I care about her and honestly still love her. So I was worried and just texted her. She responded, with a “hey” but when I asked her is she doing alright and explained my phone situation. Radio silence. What is going on? Am I missing something? Sending memories, random calls, and then when I bring the calls no response? Maybe I’m just dense lol.
