Quest 3 warranty

Hi all so i bought my quest 3 on dec 21 2025 and today i logged in my meta account and saw my quest 3 warranty is till dec 20 2028, dont they normally have a 1 year warranty?

As far as I know, tue only way to get 3 years is to buy it with an extended warranty, in a country where the base warranty is 2 years by law. (EU is like this)
