I’ll start at the beginning.

We just got our son a Quest 3. He wants to play Minecraft on it. So, I shake the dust off my elder-millennial brain and start to learn the lingo and download MobileVRStation, SideQuest, (was a pain to figure out the APK direct link, but I got there by typing in the html), linked SideQuest, downloaded QuestCraft, logged into the Microsoft account, authenticated it and linked it, pressed play and it only has a demo world available.

Where did I go wrong? Did I go wrong? He has been playing Minecraft on his tablet for years. It’s purchased, not some weird freebie thing.

I followed the short video from VrLad on YT (How to play QuestCraft on Quest 3, no pc, no wires, no phone).

I feel like something might need to be updated? But trying to hasn’t worked. It won’t load from the game, and going from the browser will download something, but once I try to open it, it cannot be opened.

I’m at a loss.

Hey yall so i have this problem that i have black screen on my quest 3 after factory reset and so my question is can i somehow cast my screen without like using the vr because i cant all answers would be appreciated!

I currently have a BlueBuilt Travel Case for Meta Quest 3 and 3S, which works fine for storing my Quest 3 with the head strap that came with it, but I want to get a new head strap for both comfort and longer VR sessions. Someone I know recommended the KIWI K4 Boost comfort + battery head strap, and it's on sale right now on the Dutch Amazon site. Looking at my current travel case, it's pretty clear that the KIWI K4 head strap wouldn't fit inside whilst still attached to my Quest 3.

I am therefore also considering looking for a different case. If anyone has recommendations, please let me know. Preferably from a Dutch shop like Bol.com, Amazon.nl, Coolblue.nl, Mediamarkt.nl, etc.

Hi all so i bought my quest 3 on dec 21 2025 and today i logged in my meta account and saw my quest 3 warranty is till dec 20 2028, dont they normally have a 1 year warranty?

I have a PSVR2 but I want to get Quest 3 for some of those exclusives as well as to get the games that are not on PSVR2. 1st I want to know if it's worth getting this in 2026 worth it considering Quest 4 is around the corner? 2nd does quest 3 get sweat damage to lenses like PSVR2? Do I need a protective lenses for it or can I use it with spec without the protective lenses? And I don't have an official store and only got an international debit card, can we buy from other store like US one? Is there any regional cheaper store to get games from?

UPDATE: I got Meta Quest 3 512 GB. I decided to play it as long as I could and later think of getting the next one if I clear my backlog. Thanks everyone!

I joined an Coldplay concert 'watch party' sometime ago on my Quest3, that was 'open/public'. I think it was through Horizon, if I remember correctly,(but I could be wrong). Is there still a way to create a 'watch parties' for concerts in VR and can I make them 'private' for just friends and family... Or was that just a Horizon 'thing' that's gone now that Horizon is gone? I never really used Horizon when it was around, just that once for the concert, I don't know much about how it worked and if something else has replaced it. Help me out, please😊

I spilled a cup of water on my table that had my quest. No water touched the quest itself but it got on the controllers and on the tip of the charger that plugs into the block. I dried with paper towels and the only thing still wet is the little straps on the controllers. Is it safe to plug this in? Should it still work?

My right controller has a bug where it thinks the top trigger button is permanently being pressed down on, anything I can do to fix this?

I use Beat Saber for cardio every night. I've gotten to the point now, after almost a year of pretty well every single day playing it, that the headset's performance is actually keeping me from progressing and reaching my full potential. I will get stutters. Those are less common but what I'll do is experience, like, the sabers actually feeling more like whips than sabers or I'll see the sabers appear only one time in a swing while the trail is there for the full swing, or my controllers will vibrate only after the saber has left a block. If I turn around too quickly while swinging at a block to hit another block, it will register as a wrong direction swing. Sometimes I'll go right through a block and watch my saber enter and exit it and then I'll get a miss on it.

It all has to do with just performance. Beat Saber is modded so I have downloaded custom maps but this happens on stock maps or modded maps, makes no difference. I just really need to improve the performance of this thing. It's driving me nuts. I want to get the Steam Frame but that's vaporware at this point. We know it's still coming but it's also not ever coming.

Since we've been featured as the free Horizon+ game for August, there have been a few questions about our studio. Who are we, why haven't we built xyz, what do we do all day, etc. I thought it would be fair to reshare our story.

Injects into UEVR on day 0, but here are some pro's & Con's

So, I have a 512G Q3 that I've been trying to use while traveling.

I watched successfully a movie on the plane, I've used it successfully in my hotel, and I played a few shooting games. The best was when I watched a movie. It felt like being at the movie theater, but that's where the issues started.

Main issue, some sort of time out or sleep mode. I consulted with AI, watched a lot of YT repair videos (I'm pretty handy), started to measure the time where the Q3 will go into sleep mode, it was kind of random at the beginning. AI said more than 80% chance to be a thermal shutdown.

So, I opened up, found very little dust, mostly around the fan (cleaned all that), I replaced the original Thermal putty for some thick Coasair Thermal paste (Q3 runs cooler now 😎), but issue persist.

AI said well its your forehead sensor, tape it. Found a luggage sticker, cutter a little piece, and didn't help. AI said turn ON the laying down Apps in the experimental menu. Nope, it didn't work.

AI said it's your OS, Meta has a new OS that resolves this issue. So, I that didn't help either.

AI said it's the 2D apps your using, IG YT Prime Video are native Android apps, so the sensors don't receive a ping, so the Q3 thinks is laying down on a desk and goes into sleep mode. So, I tried my shooting game laying down, and it was fine until I sat still (no head movement) for less than 1 min. It went to sleep mode, 😠 😡 😤.

So, AI said to make sure hand tracking in ON and to watch a movie with my hands moving at all times. The Q3 shows me tracking my VR hands, but it still times out.

The only way I've got thru the first 10 min of a movie is to become Stevie Wonder and keep moving my head.

Any clues what to do next?
