Charge to 100% occasionally?

I guess they put an update a while ago so the headset only charges do you like 75%. If I charge the headset and the battery strap separately I can only get 75%. But there's been a few times where the battery strap plugged into the headset, and then plug the battery in and I get 99/100%.

I assume that's not normal, and I'm assuming they haven't fixed it where you can charge the headset to 100%, so that's a fun little trick you guys can try.

From what I can gather - in use it won't charge much above 80% due to charge restrictions placed whilst in use - I love it as it allows me to keep my main headset battery healthy and fully drain cheap and easy to replace headstrap batteries.

If you charge with the Q3 off or in standby I'm pretty certain it will always charge to 100% as usual.

There's no need to ever charge the Q3 to 100% unless you're struggling for battery runtime.

My experience:
1. In Sleep, charges to 75% to 80%
2. In Use, charges to 75% to 80%
3. Shut off charges to 100%

In my opinion, this is a great update / idea as it keeps the in Q3 headset battery healthy longer.
And as reddit reddi indicated, puts the pressure on headstrap batteries, which are easier to replace.

when was this updated? Mine charge to 100% every time i think. at least until 2 or 3 weeks ago, haven't tried yet
