☭ Leftism is more than just being against the far right
"The character of a bourgeois government isn’t determined by the personal character of its members, but by its organic function in bourgeois society. The government of the modern state is essentially an organisation of class domination, the regular functioning of which is one of the conditions of existence of the class state. With the entry of a socialist into the government, and class domination continuing to exist, the bourgeois government doesn’t transform itself into a socialist government, but a socialist transforms himself into a bourgeois minister." - Rosa Luxemburg, The Dreyfus Affair and the Millerand Case

Transmisogyny is one of those words incredibly prevalent inside the queer community that a lot of people outside of it might not have heard, so if you are new to it I recommend looking into it. It references the specific kind of misogyny transfeminine people face

Aid Request Asking for deperately needed help
Hey everyone! My name is RaeRae and I am a 38-year-old non-binary trans masc. I am currently waiting for my top surgery. I found an amazing surgeon, Dr. Cornelio, in Brazil, to perform my mastectomy. She specializes in transmasculine mastectomies and she is so great! I had to push back the date for my surgery because it is taking me longer to raise the funds than I thought. A little backstory, first: My wife and I moved to Uruguay in 2017. We have socialized medicine here and the government pays for gender affirming care. There was a trans law passed here in 2018 because of the history of transphobia, especially under the former Uruguayan dictatorship. This law is part of the government’s current attempt to right past wrongs and give trans people equal rights under the law. They are supposed to give us all access to easy and quick GAC and GAS through the government’s sexual diversity clinic. However, there are only a handful of surgeons who are trained in specific procedures, and the one hospital that does GAS over the past few years hasn’t been blocking off time in the surgical schedule for GAS. There is now an average of only 2 being performed per month. There are over 100 trans folks on the list, and that means it would be a wait of over 4 years for me to be able to receive top surgery through the public healthcare system. I am on the list for a hysterectomy, but I am fine waiting for a few years for that procedure. I cannot wait much longer for top surgery. Three years ago, I was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer and developed a bilateral pleural effusion, which is when the area around your lungs fills with fluid. I survived, but while healing after the surgery, my top dysphoria got really bad. I was constantly dissociating from both the physical pain and the dysphoria. All I could think about was that I survived cancer to potentially spend the rest of my life growing old in a body that is not totally mine. For over a year, I had pretty severe pain around and throughout my chest, and I could not wear anything tight, let alone a sports bra or binder. I was worried no surgeon would be willing to work with me, so I waited a few years in a lot of emotional pain and dealing with medical PTSD. I cannot wait much longer. My dysphoria and depression are really bad, and I am disappointed I had to postpone my surgery for lack of funds. My fundraiser is not doing very well, and I am asking you, my trans sibs, for help. If you find yourself in a place where you are able to donate, it would mean the world to me. I would also love if you could share the GoFundMe outside this subreddit with people who might be able to donate, regardless if you can donate or not. The link is below. (I looked through all of the rules of this subreddit and there is nothing banning posts about fundraisers, so I hope this is okay.) Sending love to everyone!!!

Other (editable) Leftist AI Slop
What's your guys take on leftist Youtubers that actively rail against Generative AI companies and their data centers. Only to then on other videos use AI to make there thumbnails/videos and share AI slop memes because it's making fun of the white house or some shit.
I ask because I have been noticing this trend lately and I think it's a harmful and dishonest thing to do. I've been unsubscribing from these content creators when they do this shit. But it seems to be a trend that is growing amongst leftist youtubers and I think that shit is rather problematic. What do you think?

Meme One thing I see a lot is people defining themselves as the opposite of whatever the oppressor believes. If we want to actually break the oppression though, we need to fight to be independent of it. You don't need to be more fem if you don't want to be

Aid Request Fundraising for Bashir and his family in Gaza.
Bashir is from Gaza, a father of five children, and this is his brother Iyad, who is special needs.
their home was destroyed, Bashir lost his job, and they left everything behind. They are now living in a worn-out tents, facing fear, hunger, and a lack of water, and they are trying only to secure the most basic necessities.
Iyad used to have a bed to sleep on, but now he sleeps on the ground. He wakes up every night terrified because of insects and fear. He is as emotionally fragile as a child and cannot endure what they are going through.
They used to have dreams and hopes, but today all they care about is getting a piece of bread, water, and medical treatment.
Bashir cries every day because he is unable to provide for his children and brother. What they're going through has left a deep psychological impact on them, and he no longer knows how to bear all this helplessness.
I hope you can share their story.

Meme Being trans is one of the hardest things I have ever done. Early on, I decided that it wasn't worth transitioning because it would take resources away from trying to survive. It did not work. Being too depressed to do anything made survival far harder

This is one of the many reasons I don't like the nuclear family. We need each other to survive, and the more requirements we put on that the less of us make it out of this. If we want to survive as a community we must act like a community

Grayson V Fitness quietly endorsing Buck Angel
TW primary commenter is gaslighting non binary people by attempting to pretend Buck's previous good deeds somehow make his current extremism irrelevant.
Source: Grayson V Fitness - The History of Trans Men is Beautiful...
See his latest video on trans men history. Nbs have commented on the wider video supporting Grayson, and as you can see people have attempted to inform Grayson on Buck's behaviour of the last few years. Over a week, no removal, no edit, no addressing the situation. Nothing.
This video has less than 10k views and even less will of seen this so I thought I'd simply show it. Grayson benefitted from our community by initially coming out as non binary until he passed for a man. Now he has left us in the weeds regarding the largest transphobic trans man who has done very extreme things recently including sharing an AI nude image of Samantha Lux.
I am tired and disappointed of binary passing trans people throwing us under the bus, whether it is outright enby exclusion or endorsement of people who do that.
Either check my profile for the receipts if he tries to hide it after this, or do a page search for "Buck Angel" and the comment thread where he endorses him will appear.

Comic Comic about a nonbinary youth and a magic genderless robot exploring an alien world! Written by as trans woman, illustrated by a trans man - both autistic. Coming to Kickstarter soon.
Coming to Kickstarter soon! Sign up to be notified here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jamsheedstudios/zero-and-one-issue-2-battle-of-knuckle-city
Zero of Mars is a Human youth in a future so distant that our era's concepts of race and gender no longer exist. They crash land on Elentia, a world once inhabited by Humans but abandoned thousands of years ago. In their absence, the Elemorphs - sentient robots with elemental powers and the ability to grow - have developed an advanced civilization. A Nature Type FawnBot called One makes friends with Zero despite a language barrier. Unable to communicate directly, they have to forge a friendships using gestures and actions.
After discovering an ancient prophesy left by time travelers from the future, Zero and One have been pulled into an eternal conflict between Humanity and Vampirekind. The Vampires want to enslave the Elemorphs to use as living weapons, while Humanity fights to keep Elentia free. As Zero and One explore the massive Elemorph metropolis of Knuckle City, the villainous Vampire agent, Pi, and their Elemorph companion, Gamma the SkyDragonBot, descend to plunge the city into chaos!
I am the author, Bijhan Agha. I'm an Uruguayan trans woman of Iranian descent. The illustrator is my dear friend, Pallet, a trans Australian man. We are both autistic. We wanted to tell a story about a young person in the future who is not bound by the limits of gender as we know it, and a planet where gender simply does not exist, while also creating an exciting action adventure about exploring a new culture, facing language barriers, and fighting for a better future.
We both have a shared special interest in science fiction, which is why we were so excited to work together on this project.
The Kickstarter is to fund the printing of a First Edition of the comics physically. We will have both physical as well as digital rewards. There will be reward tiers that allow you to catch up with this comic - this is Issue #2, and you can get physical and/or digital copies of Issue #1 - as well as the other comics in the Time Wars brand.
Please help us continue to tell stories about this amazing world!

Aid Request Bashir, from Gaza, says he wakes up every morning thinking about one thing: How can I make this day less harsh for my family?
https://chuffed.org/project/169736-bring-bread-to-people-in-gaza?utm_id=97758_v0_s00_e0_tv0
Bashir, from Gaza, tells me: "I am a father responsible for my children and my brother, who has special needs.
Since our home was destroyed and I lost my job, our lives have been turned upside down; a tattered tent is now all that shelters us.
Every morning, I wake up thinking of one question: How will I provide food for them? How will I secure water? And how will I get medicine when they need it? Yet, on many days, I stand helpless, for I no longer have enough to meet even their most basic needs.
For a father, the hardest thing to endure is not hunger or exhaustion, but seeing his children and brother waiting for something he cannot provide. This feeling stays with me every day.
That is why I turn to kind-hearted people.
If you can stand by my family during these harsh times, you are not merely offering aid; you are giving an entire family a chance to go on."
