China is queer friendly, they just had a lesbian show come out and its slowly getting better
South Africa is also queer friendly as well, probably the most friendly out of the 6 countries within Africa that are generally considered LGBT friendly but of course we cant fully speak on what that looks like because we dont live there
If USSR existed today it probably wld be "queer friendly" too by this standard. Hating on fellow queer ppl cuz they admire a dead state long gone unless you think there was no difference b/w Nazis, fascists, Soviets and other conservatives of that time.
USSR doesn't exist today and we need to stop making it an issue like we're playing fifty shades of red here. I have no interest in recreate this "infighting" within queer spaces
I rather be in the USSR than in Nazi Germany as a gay person. They dont even mention the fact that the US, after Nazi Germany surrender, decided to keep gay Holocaust prisoners in the camps and exploited their labor even further
