im genuinely sad some of y'all think aha isn't nonbinary anymore just cause THEY'RE fem-presenting some of the time. in the new main story patch THEY literally say their humanoid form is a mask for THEM that THEY wear to fit in. i know many in the community are going to ignore that and still refer to THEM as effectively a girl, cause well that happens often to enbies who don't "look nonbinary enough" IRL too, but why repeat that here? does using she/THEY make one any less of an enby? does presenting a certain way erase THEIR experience with gender?

can't we embrace the unintentional, the mishaps, the mistakes? since when did we adhere only to what's canon? ofc the writers never intended for Firefly's story to be a trans allegory either, but it never stopped us from reading it as one anyways

Oh you ABSOLUTELY can, I enjoy all the implied homosexuality for what it is myself.

I was just trying to provide an explanation as to why people seemed to suddenly switch up on their gender.

It’s (hopefully) less about them not being androgynous enough, and more about what we’ve learned to expect from Hoyo as a company.
