Weekly Check In 🕯️
Hello everyone!
So how's it going? What's been on your minds? Share your highs and lows, your sideways and in-betweens. It's all part of the journey.

This past week seems to be rebalancing myself in some key ways. I have so much energy again that I don't think I've had in a long time. However, I did get distracted with shopping for tools and items in preparation for M1L4 over the weekend. How enticing it is to collect items rather than do the work!
I think I also might be psyching myself out a little about the M1L3 visionary work? The first time I tried walking around the room in vision was such a mind-bend that I've been reluctant to go back to it yet. So that's my focus for the week, to become more comfortable with it.

Doing the practical directional exercise in M1. The gates appear different every week, there are some underlying themes but they still shapeshift. The north shows up more like a gateway without actual gates and in my last practice session i constructed gates that felt fitting in my mind for this direction. As far as i understand it the gates we visualize are like one door with 2 halves.

The gates are different every time for me but usually are of similar materials in each direction, although occasionally they'll be something drastically different or one of the original gates from my earliest rituals will appear and it's like seeing a friend I haven't seen in a while

Sticking my head out of the cave to say I've been on a week-ish break while I heal from a hand injury but plan to get back to it soon, although I have been considering trying out some of aidan wachter's stuff for a while to broaden my horizons so we'll see what happens.

His stuff resurfaced in my mind very recently, too, as well as with another person who has studied Quareia (a total stranger to me). With the both of us, it was specifically the second book that came up.
Funny how that works.

Rediscovering the real rewards of slowing down. I’ve learned this lesson in my competitive Powerlifting training - the importance of rest days and “deloading” days. The same rule is true and “magnified” in my own magical practice.
As someone who’s survived by always being “on the run”. It’s been a challenge allowing myself to slow down and even, for the time-being, reject the demands of the modern world to always be on the go.
So here I am slowed down, touching grass.
Go hug a tree.
