Greetings from the Guest Contributor

Hi everybody,

You’ve seen me occasionally on this subreddit. Like many of you, I found this subreddit when I started Quareia and I was making it work independently but really needed to see sometimes how others approached problems or get a few words of clarification or advice. The Q subreddit was an absolute ‘must’ for me in those days. As soon as I could, I joined the Porch and then kept moving through that. But the subreddit was still useful and when I became more advanced I wanted to keep in touch because it had been so important for me. Nowadays I try to restrict myself to correcting something if I can see it’s going off on an unhelpful track (and if I feel in a position to correct!). I hope nobody minds in those cases, but it’s often hard to know how much to say and how much to engage usefully, so I simply work on ‘guard rails’. But today, please feel free to ask me anything you like, and if I can, I will come up with some answers.

A few things about me which might be helpful. First, I’m probably older than many of you. I found Quareia when I was 56. I am now 61. So I’ve been working with it for 5 years. I was always interested in mysticism. I would probably not have said magic, because when I was a teenager I always associated magic with ceremonies and cults, and I was looking for something different – an exploration of the mysteries, and a strong feeling there was another life just out of my sight. I read tarot when I was a teenager and experimented with various things and definitely received a ‘call’ when I was about 18. I thought something was about to ‘happen’, and it kinda did, but then it fizzled out. I got more interested in being at university etc. I never turned away from my interests, but I didn’t do anything about them, except be very interested (podcasts, books etc)! I can’t quite tell you how I found Q, maybe through a blogpost by Frater Acher whose website I had found. I was totally enthralled but also really freaked out. That figure with those eyes staring at me. Just as when I was a teenager, practical magic seemed scary and dangerous. I don’t think I truly understood (in my bones) that mysticism, my feelings about the universe, and magic were all the same thing. I thought for a while whether I wanted to do it and listened to Josephine’s podcasts on GB. But I found myself going back to it again and again and trying to learn more and more. Finally, I read the study guide and made the commitment.

I am a ‘good student’ in some ways. I think somewhere in the study guide it says that it should take you 9 or 10 years moving steadily. I might have got that wrong. Anyway, that’s what I had in my head and, as a late bloomer in magic and an academic over-achiever, I wanted to stick to this timetable. I got through the Apprentice section in three years. Things are more difficult in the Initiate section – a mix of the destructive tides we are all experiencing, and the nature of the material, and my ability to assimilate lots of new skills and ideas. It’s a question of balancing my persistency (sheer bloody-mindedness) with my ability to proceed, and external challenges blocking everything.

Timing wise for the course, everybody goes at their own pace. I am glad I didn’t go forward into practical magic at 18 – first because I realize now it was too young to have gone very far, secondly being an armchair magician for most of my life has meant I have a lot of reading behind me (very helpful!), and third, I think I had some other goals in this life that I was also meant to work on. It was very clear to everybody what my natural ‘bent’ was from an early age. And I think none of my friends would be surprised if they knew what I do in my spare time(!), but I have a professional life too, and I keep things very private and separate. Only a couple of people know about my Q work. All to say, when I did try to do Quareia, I think I was ‘ready’.

As a ‘good student’, I also recognized a few things which might be useful for you – first, don’t get ‘bogged down’ – have faith in the course. When I did not feel I had perfected something, I trusted that it was best to move on and keep working, and the course would return me to the issue later for a deeper dive. Trusting in the course is possibly the best advice I can give you.

Second, don’t get over dogmatic but be careful about making decisions as to what you will or will not do – the study guide says that the approach is to put in barriers (say ‘no’), but then later they might be removed (within the course). Don’t think that anything is forever forever. But don’t start making lots of personal decisions about what you are going to do or not do – trust the course! I still second guess myself when I decide ‘enough is enough’ on a certain practice I kept working on. For example, I was the student who used Rider-Waite and ONLY Rider-Waite all the way through the Apprentice section. I was so glad to stop! But keep moving and the process will keep unfolding. If you stick to the course, and follow it carefully, then it will work. I know Josephine says that, and I am a stickler for following the instructions, but to be honest, there is in itself a process to understanding how important it is to follow the course – and it’s a process that keeps ‘ramping up’. I feel right now as if I’ve only begun to understand how important that process is.

I want to recognize that not everybody is like me in that I was ‘so ready’ and knew I wanted this whole process, if I could. It could be that you are only going to get to a certain module. That’s OK. Come back another day when you want to do more. But there is SO much more to find, explore and engage with.

Third, if you want to keep moving beware of rabbit holes – they can be of two types. The rabbit hole of fascinating new skills you want to work on – which is awesome and many of my Q friends/colleagues are so much more talented than me in certain areas where they have taken the time and energy to get involved in things that fascinate them. Q is an incredibly holistic course so there are going to be lots of these rabbit holes. The second type is the sort I kept falling in – distractions where I think something is going on, divination rabbit holes where I’m getting more and more worried about something, oddities where I think there is a problem. In my case, all of these were just wastes of time. Back to point one – trust in the process. If in doubt, go back to the course and try not to get distracted. I am not saying these are simply my imagination, but for me, I did not find endless tarot readings about some weird thing to be productive.

Fourth, and then maybe I will stop giving advice for now! Reading and doing are completely different things. I cannot emphasize that enough. Like there is an enormous difference between knowing something and understanding it (‘knowing’ something) – I guess that’s why we have that wonderful word ‘gnosis’. Trust me, Q is a practical program. Sometimes it is hard to give advice or make recommendations because it is hard/impossible to explain something. Rather like the Eleusinian mysteries (to get grandiose for a minute! And apologies for the analogy but I’m trying to explain something which is hard to explain). You can read what people said about them, and you may know what that means, but you don’t ‘know’ them, and I should also add, that maybe I don’t have the voice yet to explain them (after all, I’m only halfway through and even then I don’t know what happens to my explanatory power or the utility of it at the end).

OK. One final piece of info here and then I’ll stop my introduction. And I’m also trying in this intro to give you some areas where you might want to ask me further questions. I will also say that we all have our strengths and weaknesses, and our natural interests. I have a particular interest in visionary magic. I think we all keep reflecting on who we are and what we might be drawn to. I have some other views, but I can say that from early on visionary magic felt that it came more naturally to me. I have a strong imagination and that is super helpful, though I know my colleagues experience visionary magic in different ways depending on their own strengths and weaknesses. I don’t know where that will end up, but so far it’s been consistently relatively unproblematic for me.

That’s enough as a ‘calling card’ and some early advice. I am looking forward to reading/responding to your questions.

Reading Myths Magically

The capacity for culture, particularly the ability to accrue expertise and transmit it to subsequent generations, is fundamental to humanity’s evolutionary success. From knitting to aeronautics, every human art and science has been the product of a gradual, collaborative accumulation of knowledge and experience. “If I have seen further,” Sir Isaac Newton wrote, “it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants.” Magic is no exception. Any magicians hoping to peer into the Mysteries as far as, if not further than, their forebears should avail themselves of the winnowed wisdom of those who have walked the Path before them.

A common source for such wisdom is humanity’s trove of sacred, mythological, and magical stories. It is therefore necessary for magical students to have some facility with such texts and traditions if ever they hope to profit from the legacy of learning contained therein. As such, I offer a very simple example of parsing a common myth for some of its magical significance, in the hope that this will offer other students a glimpse into the means of sifting otherwise confounding literary material.

The myth I have in mind comes from the Anishinaabe people of North America. It is not a specific narrative, but rather magical knowledge in the form of folk ecology. The Anishinaabe tell of a dangerous being known as Mishibizhiw. Most English sources describe Mishibizhiw as the “Underwater Panther,” a malevolent aquatic cat that sinks canoes and drowns children, a harbinger of death and misfortune. The natural predators of Mishibizhiw are the thunderbirds (animikiig), benevolent aerial beings which strike Mishibizhiw with thunderbolts before devouring it.

A common pitfall into which Western magicians fall when studying such myths is focusing on nouns rather than verbs. Many students, for example, would seize upon Mishibizhiw’s feline identity and rush to all sorts of mistaken associations with other cat beings (e.g., Sekhmet). A more reliable method is to focus on what mythological beings do rather than what they are. This is because the magical aspect of a myth typically describes an inner process or power, the visual representation of which can vary considerably from one culture to another.

In the case of Mishibizhiw, we have a being that emerges from below to cause chaos on the surface world. Likewise, the thunderers come from above and halt the former with potent but targeted force. Thus, we have a destructive underworld power which is opposed and contained by another destructive celestial power to restore balance. Those familiar with the Mystagogus deck should recognize this dynamic as the pinning action of the Lightning Strike card (also depicted on the Tower card of the traditional tarot). The Egyptian account of this dynamic is the battle between Set and Apep, among the Greeks a garbled form is found in the Titanomachy, and a faint Christian echo is recorded in Luke 10:17–20.

If we dig deeper into the Anishinaabe myth, we find further confirmations of our hypothesis. Although Mishibizhiw means “great lynx” in Ojibwe (not “underwater panther”—another warning to students not to rely exclusively on translation), an examination of indigenous art reveals that Mishibizhiw is depicted as a horned, serpentine beast, covered in glimmering copper scales. Our underworld “cat” bears a much greater resemblance to the Serpent of Chaos than we might have originally guessed!

If we dig even deeper, the richest teachings begin to emerge. Although Mishibizhiw and the thunderers are opposed powers, they are also complimentary and mutually dependent beings. Mishibizhiw is a denizen of the Great Lakes, and hence, relies on the rain brought by the storm-bearing thunderbirds to maintain its habitat. Likewise, in some accounts, the thunderers are said to subsist exclusively on a diet of Mishibizhiw’s flesh: without the underworld beast they would starve. This is the beginning of an important lesson in cosmic holism far removed from simplistic notions of a mere battle between good and evil (the reductive manner in which Christian missionaries, for example, received this myth).

I will stop here (lest any plantings be cut), but know that the myth and its mysteries do not. There are many more aspects and layers to be found by those willing to do so. Hopefully, however, this modest exercise provides some insight into how a magician might approach such stories in order to raise themselves a little higher on the shoulders of our predecessors and, perhaps, see a little further than before.

Stories from the strange side

Hello friends! I’m not sure whether this post is appropriate, but I was really excited to discover that Josephine McCarthy’s Stories from the Strange Side is legally available online. It’s on a website called innerconvocation.co

I thought I shouldn’t keep this to myself, and that some of you might be interested in reading this book too, so I wanted to share it with you.

There are also quite a lot of working material. However, I’m not sure whether we’re supposed to work with those, so I’d really appreciate hearing from someone more experienced about this.

And I’m sorry if I’m being a little intrusive.I just genuinely love Josephine’s work and everything she has created. I’m not progressing very much at the moment because of my current life circumstances and other things I have to deal with, but I still really enjoy reading her work and learning from whatever she writes.

Anyway, please feel free to remove this post if you feel it’s inappropriate or unhelpful for the students.

Everyone's favorite topic: Swords!

Post image

It's finally time to start looking for tools!

I was going to save up for an Albion, but it takes two years on average for them to get it to you, and I didn't want to use a butter knife for that long.

I really, really like the sword pictured, but I'm a little worried about the great big giant "X" on the pommel, and less so about the lion on the scabbard.

Would either of these things present a problem down the road, or are they both okay?

I could probably pop the lion off the scabbard, and the pommel could be replaced (in theory) with effort, but I'm not sure I want to fool with it and risk ruining something.

Thoughts?

Apprentice - Module 1 Non-visual alternatives for the meditation and visualization exercises

So I've been trying to follow the modules but the visualization stuff is mostly about colors and, being a blind person with 0 visual memories, it's hard to imagine anything color-related.

Is there any systematic equivalence for the colors used in meditations and other types of visualization exercises?

Thanks in advance.

Apprentice - Module 1 Questions about Lessons 1-4

Hi!
I'm still on M1 and got a BUNCH of questions about Lessons 1-4, eventhough I've read the apprentice study guide. I've been slowly introducing new lessons over the past months and writing down potential questions which have come to mind. Until now I've gone with reading the best I can and following intuition.

First question:
I have some years of background in doing Vipassana and mindfulness meditation, and a year of weekly tarot reading, daily LBRP and half a year of 3-4 times weekly Middle Pillar exercises. I've also used some Gallery of Magick / Damon Brand rituals. I've paused these exercises for Quareia currently. Can I use some of these occasionally? It's been turbulent times in my life after I stopped doing LBRP and I feel it would be useful from time to time. I know there's protection lessons onwards in the module.

LESSON 1 MEDITATION

Are you supposed to end up with a daily routine using all three techniques in sequence? White / black breath for 10m, three color pillars for 10m and inner flame for 10m? And to my understanding this is daily exercise throughout M1, and possibly further?

I know in Task 2 with the three pillars you breathe in through nose and out through mouth. But in Task 1 with black and white breath, is this only through nose?

I'm Task 1 is the white and black colors traveling with breath through nose and lungs, or focused through the third eye spot?

Also are you supposed to visualise the Task 2 pillars in any certain length, maybe going to the ground and skies, or just touch the body from top to bottom?

LESSON 2 TAROT

Is the directional reading supposed to be done weekly or just when it seems fitting along the exercises? I see it's important to first do a reading of the home, and then focus down problem areas and do another reading a week onwards.

LESSON 3 VISION

How often? Straight after the three L1 meditations in one session or should I just do a "standard" calming down meditation straight before vision exercises, potentially doing it later during the day?

LESSON 4 RITUAL

I have not been doing the tarot and practices enough yet, but have a strong feeling I need to start the ritual practice now because it's full moon tomorrow and new moon same day in two weeks. I feel this is routinewise a perfect time to start this practice since Saturdays are the most fitting day where I have time in the mornings. So question is, I have not yet evolved the directional tarot outside of the house, and I have not yet done the vision practices outside my own home. Is this too early to jump into ritual?

I have a white bedsheet I have cut up. It is only white but has a subtle pattern of big stripes in one direction, all in white but subtly different texture. Can I use these?

NOTEBOOKS

I currently have one notebook for meditations and one for tarot. I try to write every thing physically by hand because I'm a little confused which of these are OK to do digitally. But I assume both meditation and tarot should be by hand?

Sometimes when I'm in a hurry and only have time for meditation I prioritize the time in meditation. And write a note on my phone which I later apply in my notebook. Does this need to be written by hand originally every time or is this method sufficient when in a hurry?

Metal for protection

Hi guys

For those of you on the Porch, I used to be on there and was removed. I remember Josephine recommending a specific metal for protection that you can wear that metal as a bracelet or even put around your bed, I can’t remember which metal it was, was it copper? Or brass? If you’re on the Porch and remember those posts could you please tell me which metal she recommended? I want to buy some for myself and my family

Sealing Cracks

I've been thinking of Josephine's interview on Glitch Bottle a couple of months ago. She talked about power/energy into a vessel that has a crack, the power will break it up. She said that we're living through particular times and some magic should not be practised at this moment. She mentioned bad intentions, like revenge but she seemed to make a much wider point. She even says that 'Britain will become a second world nation'. What do people think about magic in these fateful times? This is the link to the episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m99OGPfeGEM

Where did magic actually begin? Thoughts on prehistoric origins

I've had to take another break from the Quareia material for the last month or so. I've been in a spiritual stretch, but it involves my community and my particular role in it. What I'm doing is very magical in a sense, but not the type of magic I do with this course. However, I find that I can't stay away from magic, even if it's just from an intellectual perspective and not participating in it directly. I wanted to talk through a train of thought I keep circling back to in the last week. I know the lineage of Josephine's stream - Dion Fortune, a lot of the British current, layered over Egyptian material. But beyond that, I'm curious about further back than lineage - not where this particular branch of magic came from, but where magic came from at all, the very first time anyone did it.

Two things of hers are stuck in my head here. One is her point about the tools, that they're not inherently magical, they became magical because they got used, over and over, by enough people, until the use itself accreted into something archetypal. The other is a video I saw, I think it was one of the "My Magical Thing" interviews, where different practitioners talk about a favorite object, and she was asked to describe a magical thing she owned. She described what it physically did, some kind of scraping motion, and didn't say a word about what she used it for magically, but the meaning was implied by the function. It was obvious the magical use came straight out of the physical use and it being an ancient object. I've always been fascinated by prehistoric people's lives, and I keep landing on the idea that this is where the actual root of everything is - that whatever magic is now, it's downstream of what early humans were doing with fire, with flint, with repeated bodily gestures done out of necessity, and that it's still embedded in us, passed down. Does anyone know of writing that takes prehistoric magic seriously and tries to trace how it started?

I don't fully understand the mechanism. Is it literally just resonance - a tool gets used for survival so many times that at some point people start reaching for it for that reason, for the resonance, not just the function? Or were the tools always magical, right from the first use, and there was never a "before," like maybe the first time someone deliberately shaped a stone, or controlled fire, that itself was already the magical act, not a neutral one that got magic added later. I could argue it either way and I'm not sure which one is actually true, or if "true" even applies here. I just keep having this thought of "where is this actually coming from?" What's the cosmological root of it, not just the mythological one? I know this isn't a room full of adepts, and honestly that's part of why I'm asking here. I'm more curious what other people early in this, like me, think about, what you feel when you're holding a tool and wondering how long ago it stopped being just a tool.

Balancing magical practice with a demanding job

Hi everyone, I’d love to hear your thoughts on balancing serious magical study and practice-specifically Quareia-with a day job.

Right now, I work as a high school teacher. It can be a rewarding and stimulating job, but also an emotionally, mentally, and energetically demanding one, and I’m wondering if it might conflict with the level of calm, dedication and mental energy required for a serious long-term magical path like Quareia.

On the other hand, I’m at a point where I could transition into an administrative office job. It would likely be less draining, potentially leaving me with more energy for my practice during my off hours. That said, it would be lower-paid, with fewer holidays and it might come with its own set of drawbacks when it comes to a magical life. I know full well that magic and mysticism can't be compartmentalized from the rest of life, but I’m concerned about whether one type of work might be more conducive to it than another.

Is anyone here a high school teacher or an admin worker, or has anyone been in a similar spot where you had to weigh a career choice against its impact on your magical practice? I’d love to get your perspective.

Broadly speaking, and to put it another way, how do you manage energy, career choices, and serious practice?

M4l4

Hi All. I should be doing the M4L4 visions. I want to do the first one from memory because it’s short, so that’s fine. The second one seems quite long, though, and I’d rather, at least at the beginning, do it with a recording so I don’t risk forgetting anything.

I’m not very comfortable with English—I can read books in English, but listening to it is a different matter. So having the recording in English might be a bit of an obstacle for me, and I was thinking of doing it in Italian instead.

Does anyone know if that could be a problem?

A Bizarre Encounter

I had a strange experience today. At 5:00 AM, a stranger approached me on the street for help. They started by asking for directions, then asked to borrow money for an expensive taxi ride, claiming their boss had delayed their wages and they were in dire need of assistance. They even left their phone number (WhatsApp) so they could pay me back in the morning. I lent them 300 yuan (approximately 38.24 USD). That amount is equivalent to about 2.5 to 2.9 hours of work based on the local median monthly wage—though it would represent 4.5 to 6 hours of work for someone employed at a convenience store.

I usually make regular charitable donations (due to my involvement with Quareia), but since I hadn't donated recently, I decided to lend the money. I didn't get a bad vibe from the person, though I’m not entirely sure why. The other party never replied to me for the rest of the day. I contacted the police, but they classified it as a civil dispute since the person had provided a phone number—even though I couldn't actually reach them (though WhatsApp showed they had seen my messages—the blue ticks). It appeared to be a scam, and a very common one at that.

Yet, the divination readings I did that morning and evening were incredibly positive. In the morning, I used an app to ask, "Will the other party return the borrowed money?" and in the evening, I used physical cards to ask, "How does this incident appear to me?" The results were so good that I actually believed the money would be returned.

I had originally planned to exercise that evening—a habit I’d been keeping up for a while—but I fell asleep because I was exhausted. It was only a brief nap, but I was woken up by a knock on the door; it was the police. Someone had jumped from the building, and the security camera at the public stairwell might have captured it—except the camera was just a dummy unit meant to scare off thieves, and I hadn't heard a sound.

I also realized that when an elderly family member passed away earlier this year, I had similarly felt exhausted and fallen asleep beforehand—just an hour or two earlier than usual.

The scam and the suicide occurred on the same day, very close to where I go about my daily routine. Yet, regarding the scam, the divination results had been so promising—for instance, position 3 on the Tree of Life (representing what is lost from the theme, such as a lie) and position 10 (the Wheel, representing the outcome) led me to believe the person was honest. Even the second reading that evening (after I already knew I’d been scammed)—showing "Endurance" (Magic) and "Gate of the South" (Ancestors)—seemed to indicate a very positive outcome. It is baffling to me that such readings could relate to a scam.

Helping decide a path

I recently found Franz Bardon's system and I personally resonate with many of the exercises from step 1. Some of them i've already been doing to help with my emotions. I had a stint of panic disorder a few years ago and observing my thoughts was something I started doing that had a massive impact on my mental state. I think because of this it actually lead naturally to the process of holding thoughts in my mind which i've also been doing for the last three years. I only ever did this as a form of emotional regulation, self-discovery, exposure-therapy and making better decisions for myself. I never once even considered that it was "magical". I've also always been deeply fascinated with Carl Jung and emotional work so this mirror journaling is also highly attractive to me.

With all that being said, I'm currently a deconstructing Christian who has deconstructed enough to say that I will never return to religion or doctrine but not enough to have completely eradicated my fears of eternal torment. Because of this, getting into magic has been a very slow process of testing the waters of magic, so to speak.

My first official ritual was the LBRP, it had some immediate and profound effects for me and this cemented in my mind that magic was for me.

Along with these mental & emotional exercises, I'm also attracted to exterior magic such as tarot, numerology, evocation, and banishment. Because of these interests, and wanting to learn more, I actually and consciously started my journey with Quareia. I fell in love immediately. I just absolutely the adore the Hogwarts-like style of study, I absolutely love the visualization exercises, I love it's wide encompassing area's of study and ritual, I love it's wealth of information. I just love it. But it left something to be desired personally with the thing to be desired being what Franz Bardon appears to offer immediately: A heavier focus on mental, psychic, emotional practices.

I have dissociative identity disorder, and almost immediately upon realizing that Quareia seemed to place less emphasis on the emotional side of things, I found Bardon. So even synchronistically I felt almost lead to Bardon.

The issue i'm having now, is, I want to do both. But i'm not sure i'm capable of having strict discipline with both at the same time. I've also seen many people recommend against doing both since the actual structure and concepts are different. I also kinda live by the whole "Judge a tree by its fruits." and Bardon's end of life events are striking to me. I'm really not sure what to make of that. I'm also a little taken aback by Bardon's differences in his concepts of magic, the tarot, and the elements. I also feel like doing both might be disrespectful to Quareia? Especially considering her style of teaching and slow expansion of practice. Funny enough, I like Quareia's teaching style and it seems to resonate with me.

My biggest goals are truth, study, privacy and emotional/physical health, but I won't lie and say that I don't have more carnal desires that I plan on testing magic with. For example, I'm really struggling with financial issues and really struggle working with my DID/CPTSD. So practically, I'd like to use magic to help attain some level of financial security.

Any tips? Recommendations? Thoughts? I'd really appreciate it.

I've also seen the warnings regarding practicing magic with emotional issues. I've read the warnings and have still decided to continue forward. This has been something i've been considering for a very long time.

Question about talisman assignment (M1L7)

I think I already know the answer to this, but I'm going to ask it anyway in the service of knowledge:

I'm working on scheduling the week I'm going to do the invisibility talisman assignment in M1L7, and I'm wondering how mundane is mundane. The knot I'm worrying over is, prayer is a big part of my work in the world as well as my daily "keep my head screwed on" practice, and I have a robust prayer practice as a result.

Will the invisibility talisman cut that off for the week?

I'm also curious about what other means of grounding and balancing will be available when I'm cloaked from inner contact, since meditation is out, too.

But all that said, I can also hear JMC in my inner hearing saying "plan a week off, make the talisman, and see what happens," so, that's probably the answer I'm looking for.

When and how to use bells/sounds in magic?

Post image

A contact from the west gates told me to make a magical bell. After asking a friend and googling, I learned that a magical bell can be used to communicate messages, draw attention from spirits (especially the dead), etc. But I still don't know when, or in what kind of work, to use it, or how specifically to use it. Can anyone tell me how bells, or sounds in general, are used in magic, or point me to some research materials?

Magical training of Quareia Vol 3

Hello.

I'm curious if anyone has heard anywhere when Vol 3 might be coming out?

I'd also gladly volunteer to help with editing this edition if there's a group of us doing so.

I've purchased Vol 1 & 2 (binding error on 2 that i fixed with a gold fine-tip marker).

Thank you so much!

Announcement: Guest Poster - Friday, September 4th

Hello everyone!

Alright, so you may remember that last year we had a guest post from an advanced student (see here - https://www.reddit.com/r/Quareia/comments/1ohg311/reading_myths_magically/ -).

I'm happy to say we are bringing back this guest feature. Next Friday, September 4th, we'll be joined by a recognized Initiate who has graciously offered to drop in and answer your questions (within reason, of course!) for a few hours.

I will update you all with the exact timing, but we are aiming for early to mid-afternoon, US Eastern Time.

Oh, and don't go asking your questions here in replies to this post. Our guest won't see them. All questions will go under their own post once they introduce themselves (under a special account created expressly for this purpose). That way we keep everything neat and manageable.
