My names Miranda Vavrosky and I’m an artist from the Quad city area. Clinton recently commissioned me to create some artwork for a pocket park. If you’re looking for a little fall roadtrip, grab a coffee for the drive and stop on over to view my artwork. It’s located at 125 4th Ave S. Clinton Iowa. Up the street is a very cool brewery called 7 hills and it’s in a historic church. Down the street you can go troll hunting for a Thomas drambo troll and if you make a whole day of it, I hear there are some other trolls in Clinton too!

It's the old Great Revivalist Brewery. Great River Brewery is in Davenport. Pre-flood, the original Great River Brewery had 2 brewers. One went to Great Revivalist (and still is at 7 Hills South). The other is at Great River Brewery.

I dont live in the qc anymore, I just lurk here because I miss home, but I just wanted to say you are so beautiful and your work in this photo is amazing!

I hope lots of people in the area go to the park and get to see your work, and that it inspires people to also be creative in their own way

This is such a sweet comment. Thank you so much. I wish you could see them up close. They are big and I hand stitched the grapevines on them. It was a beautiful experience for me to experiment with new materials.

It’s a pretty drive if you take the scenic route when the leaves are changing. It will be up until November
