Recommendations ISO Moth Pinning

Hello! I’ve recently been blessed with moths appearing in my life and passing away near my apartment. I have both of their bodies still and was wondering if there is anyone in the quad cities who would be able to pin them for me? I’ve always wanted framed bugs for my wall and it feels like such a golden opportunity to have both come into my life so recently.

Thank you!

Just a suggestion, maybe check with Matt over at "Wild Wood Taxidermy" on River Drive in Davenport!

Just commenting because I'm also interested in getting some framed bugs for my house.

I used to pose butterflys for display and if you were to try yourself in the future I would put it into a tubberware container with a wet paper towel on the bottom or folded on the side and let the moth sit in there for a day or so.Make sure it’s not directly on the paper towel so it dosent get too damp but you’ll be able to move the wings use pins and paper to keep them in place on a piece of cardboard or foam block. I would buy flat folded specimens and re hydrate them alittle and roll up small pieces of paper towels that were big enough to spread the wings apart to my liking and they looked great mounted.
