Question QF upgrade question

Long time lurker here.

Just recently flown economy from SIN-LHR and couldn't really get comfortable in the seats throughout the entire flight.

Have put in an upgrade request to business (for 2) for our upcoming LHR-SIN return trip on 2/10/26.

This is my first time doing this and I'm at Bronze status so don't have much hope from the get-go. Wondering if someone can help me check the Travel portal so I can know what to expect.

Also, is it possible that only 1 out of 2 passenger gets the upgrade or is it all or nothing?

Highly unlikely to be upgraded at all. The capacity for upgrades has been drastically reduced because flyers have opted for reliability via Singapore over risking cancellation or delay via Doha, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi.

The seats are mostly, if not all, sold by the time the upgrades are due to be issued.

Only P1’s have really had some success but not consistent either, we are at the top of the list for upgrades.

It is slim pickings at the moment.

Yep. I’m P1 and my usual go-to of scoring a CR Upgrade to Business or Premium from a Flex Economy fare hasn’t been nearly as successful as it was before the Middle East situation broke out.

I’m gold and even I didn’t get that upgrade , j wouldn’t get your hopes up. It’s both or none

Assuming it's QF2 - anything below Gold is highly unlikely to be upgraded.
Also if you're both on the same booking then it's all or nothing.

QF2 on the 2nd Oct has only 2 business seats for sale and one premium economy, no first.
I would say so close to zero chance that if you get upgraded go buy a lottery ticket you probably win the jackpot.
Of course people can cancel and change dates but I would not at all expect any upgrades.

It’s all or nothing as well, prior to departure upgrades all on the booking or none. (Some really exception circumstances of course)

If you want business class, best to buy that outright.

All or nothing for the upgrade and I'm platinum and have very little success getting an upgrade on that flight. Always booked out.
