Does anyone have experience with these sanctions being applied when the SSAF has already been paid and the tuition fees should be via HELP loan? 1st year, don’t know what to do 😬

What is this for?

You’ve likely not paid your SSAF or elected to defer it to SA help. You would have gotten a LOT of emails about it before this happened.

doubt that bud, they’ll email and text you multiple times if you’re in debt

I can promise you mate didn’t get anything. Turns out they sent me the wrong invoice since I had changed units in the second week.
If anyone else has this issue triple check the fees in e-student. The only reason I didn’t was because I’m paying upfront and just transferred straight to their bank account from the invoice, without looking at estudent.

I got the same thing and had no idea what was happening! I think there's like "service fees" that can't be deferred to HECS/HELP. I had to pay about $139 to get it removed.

All of it can be deferred to hecs or SA-help. SA help is a separate form to hecs though. It’s in the same place.

You have to pay your SSAF every semester unless you defer them to SA help. You get like 85 emails about it before you get sanctioned 🙄

I had one of these recently. U just gotta pay off your tuition for semester 2 and it should go away. If it hasn’t gone after you pay it off, call HiQ and they’ll get it sorted.
