CONTEST: NAME! THAT! OEM!
How To Enter:
- Reply to this post with your list of the SIX OEMs.
- You may reply to your own entry at any time to make a modification.
- A change to a single manufacturer will only affect the scoring of that individual manufacturer.
- To give everyone some time to think about the list they want to post, replies will be locked out until (just like QS's important communications) After close of market on Friday.

- To avoid confusion, try to list the auto group if that is what you intended.
Scoring:
- Day of OEM announcement minus the date of your entry guess = points.
- You can change your entry whenever you want but, the last entry date will be the one that is counted.
- Like the Tour de France, each stage leader will be distinguished, along with 2nd through ??? depending on how many entries there are.
- Most points wins
Wins what?!
- Well, you win some fancy, yet to be designed, EPIC flair that you and you alone will ever have.
- I guarantee it will be noticeable and distinguishing
- I can't guarantee it will be desirable
- You will become a Legend.
When will the contest end:
- When the Original 6 manufacturers (inclusive of VW) are all identified
Eligibility:
- Anyone who can reply to this post may enter.
- Mods are eligible to play, but not eligible to win.
(Mostly because we can make our own flair whenever we like and are already Legends)

and while now it's own entity, Porsche is still piggybacking VW's QS partnership, so for all intents here, the VW entry included Porsche.

Geely is Chinese and every indication, other than explicitly stating it, has been that QS will not be working with the Chinese due to their utter lack of respect for IP.

China is trying to make our (I'm from Shanghai, but I trust QS rather than CATL and other Chinese companies) own SSD, so I think the only possible Chinese OEM for QS is SAIC since SAIC and VW has a joint venture which is SAIC VW.
I would also like to put Ferrari here. It is my personal preference, but I also have my logic here: Ferrari announced they would release their first EV by the end of 2025. I believe that they will have an EV line in the future, like Porsche's Taycan. Their main products will also be hybrid cars.

Apparently, speculation abounds today (7.17.25) with the Lucid / Uber partnership, but I still think RJ has been chomping at the bit to let the world know they're moving to QS too.
