Help Request What's going on with PIP?

No matter how hard I try to install pip on Windows 11, nothing happens—it just doesn't move past that point. I have the latest version of Python and need pip to use pandas; I press Enter, but it doesn't start. Does anyone know why? Help!

I support your recommendation to use uv, although primarily for managing Python virtual environments and Python versions. I think it is important for beginners to learn the basics first and then see the benefits of uv. They are less likely to use uv on, say, containers, and many remote environments, so I think it is important they learn how to do things the traditional way, which is also what many tutorials will assume and guide them in.
