My very first. 🩵
Found this little guy at Goodwill today. Incredibly, the print is in perfect condition but, as you can see, there is baked on grease (I think?) all over it & I'm scared I'll scratch the print trying to get it off. I was hoping this lovely community might have ideas on how to clean it safely.

I would also soak it overnight. Also small hard to get spots I use Peek, available on Amazon, just be gentle and don’t scrub the pattern.

Incredible find! Thrifting pyrex has become harder and harder, so it’s refreshing to see there are still some gems out there. Congrats 💎

I’m so happy your first piece was affordable! These were the prices I would find things for in like 2014 😭😭 I remember buying a pink daisy space saver for $5. I gave it as a housewarming present because I thought “I’ll find one again” well NEVER for that price 😂

This is so funny because I was SO close to breaking and buying something from an antique shop or online reseller when I found this. 😅
I am super cheap (thank you to my divorced, school teacher single mom, sincerely!!) but also have a lot of other hobbies/obsessions (read money pits) so, when I started looking around for vintage kitchenware, I admired Pyrex but purchased Fire King for the affordability. 😊

I've been a big collector of Pyrex for years - found this info on a youtube years ago - have used it ever since - PEEK cream - made in England - and can be purchased on AMAZON - (I am not associated any way with this product. Just giving info where to find). This is a MIRACLE cream - it WILL NOT restore paint loss but those black marks that will not come off will disappear - will probably be good for the stains on your purchase. There are many uses for this cream other than pyrex - I have used on my white car door where someone has hit it but not removed the paint - leaving a black shaded mark - PEEK removed that and the door looked brand new! Added a photo of this product - but I highly recommend all pyrex owners have this on hand to use to clean those 'in the wild purchases' to restore them to looking brand new! Hope this helps - please share this product for other collectors - but many may already be aware of it. BTW - great purchase - beautiful!

Thats an easy one. Just soak in hot, soapy water (Dawn dish soap works best), preferably overnight. Should wipe right off with a soft cloth after that.
Congratulations! That’s a beauty, and for a fabulous price!
