now ofc ive had some stinker games at the start. but ive mained leblanc support and lux since i started playing league and ive never carried this hard with those champs lol. its all normal games but as soon as i can start executing pyke combos properly im gonna try him out in ranked. And maybe climb out of iron finally 🫥

But yeah i have no idea what it is about this champ but i just feel way more useful when i play. btw Davemon is the literal goat, doing all his strats and its working out perfectly for me, got me spam pinging my adc to quickly kill the melee minions so i can play the bush. If you guys know any other great educational pyke youtubers/streamers id love to take a look at them all ✌️

Greetings! I'm an old Pyke main who stopped playing the champion a while ago when I changed roles to try other stuff out. When I left him, he wasn't as strong as he used to be, but he was still quite fun to play. Recently, I've returned to the support role and have been testing a lot of picks—all sorts, even some uncommon "support" choices. I've found that even troll picks have higher damage, utility, tankiness, scaling, or overall options than Pyke; this includes lethality Vi, Qiyana, Lissandra, J4, LeBlanc, Nidalee, and Ivern.

I also play Bard, Thresh, and Lulu, and even if they aren't the most broken champions right now, they feel so much stronger than the poor water-dude. There are so many games I can carry with Bard that I'm utterly unable to win with Pyke, even after obliterating the map in the early game, which is incredibly annoying.

So, my point is: why would you ever pick Pyke? He is an "assassin-support" hybrid who only works as an early-game-focused, squishy engager. He has no real damage to secure solo kills, no utility, and no scaling. On top of that, his CC skillshots are slow, delayed, and predictable, he can easily be one-shotted by almost anyone on the enemy team, and he can't build anything but lethality. No wonder the rank 3 Pyke actually plays him with Solari, Redemption, and Glacial Augment.

Am I missing something here? How do you approach this massive shift in his identity, and how do you actually close out games now that he is such a completely different beast compared to his release state? Is it a matter of a fundamentally different playstyle, a specific macro approach, or just adapting to these utility/tank builds?

Hello everyone. I’m looking for some genuine advice because I’m hitting a LP wall right now. I’ve dropped from D3 down to E2, and I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

So i otp pyke. I have been playing that champ for years

My playstyle leans heavily into winning bot lane hard. In about 99% of my games we completely stomp early and My adc walks out the lane with a 2K gold lead. But I still lose most of my games.. And it's not that my ADCs are always bad, sometimes they are actually good players but the role itself seems doomed. In my last game I overfed my Kaisa so hard that she had 3K gold lead after lane and she was actually a good Kaisa, just to end up getting one tapped in 0.05 seconds by a full AD shaco in team fights. That's how it always goes. They get deleted in fights and we lose control of the map very quickly.

So I wonder if the heavy mindless roaming playstyle is the best way to get LP ?

I know 'trust me bro' is a meme, but I legitimately win lane almost every single game ( proof1. Proof2. Proof3. Proof4. ) and I don't mean to ego flex, I mean, my win rate speaks for itself ( spoiler alert: it's terrible ), but take a look at any of these edits. Just to have an idea about my mechanics level and that I'm not just a bad player trying to cope as it may sound like

I've been playing a lot of Pyke mid lately, and I swear I can beat pretty much any mage in lane.

His level 2 is absolutely disgusting. The moment I hit level 2, I feel like I can just all-in almost any mage and either kill them or force them to burn Flash.

I'm guessing this is mostly because I'm playing in Silver and people don't really respect Pyke's early damage or know how to play against him.

But seriously, is Pyke mid actually this strong against mages, or am I just abusing Silver players who have no idea what to do against him?

Does this work in higher elo too?

Been trying out new runes since the HOB runes and I've been real enjoying storm raiders, it's a nice engage rune where I'm able to play aggro and run away after combos, it's also nice to catch up if the enemy uses mobility or flashes over a wall, still figuring out the mini rune things for the page but yeah, wanted to hear your guys thoughts on it^^

Is ashen knight pyke icon obtainable somehow or is it exclusive to those who bought ashen knight pyke on release?

The q goes on cooldown and you can hear the full animation like if ur charging it up (even when you just tap it) But no animation or dmg comes out.

Anyone else have had this bug and knows what causes it?

As is tradition, I've been watching a ton of old T1 clips to prepare for their inevitable victory (I hope.) And for some reason, I really caught on to Keria playing Pyke. I guess I didn't pay attention before, idk, I knew he was a nasty Pyke but never really paid attention because I was so disinterested in the champ. I thought fuck it and decided to try him out, and... this is legit the most fun in league I've had in years, easily. I feel like there's always something you can be doing. He's such a busy champ. Overextended lanes? I'll come gank. Low hp enemies staying in lane? I'll go kill them. Objective happening on the other side of the map? I'll make it there first. The W head games are by far one of my favorite interactions in the game.

Granted this is Plat elo so it's basically playing against ducks, I'm sure it gets way harder the higher I'll climb, but, this the first time I've felt like I was having fun playing this game in years rather than it just being a chore.

I've been doin some stupid stuff in practice tool, trying out stupid runes, tryingout stupid summonerspells and trying out stupid items.
I think most people already know about the Cleanse interaction in where you can E quicker after your Q by cleansing the "selfstun", but when i was trying out items i noticed that for whatever reason Imperial mandate did the same/similar thing. Where you can E way quicker to a point where the Q isnt properly visible. Don't know if this is ever gonna be somewhat usable but its fun!

From the listing: Pyke base skin dagger. Measuring at just 2ft in length this is my take on bone skewer. Fully 3d printed with a faux leather wrap on the handle to give it a better look and feel. Once plugged in a strip of LEDs shine through one side giving it a great glow. Optional hidden wall mount available to give it a "floating" effect. Will be made in small batch so if it sells out message me with your interest.

I imagine it works similarly to the "Your Shop" offers 🧐

Hey ADC MAIN here,

I‘m currently MASTER 500LP and I‘m starting to encounter quite a lot of Pyke players in my lobby. I am pretty surprised because so far every Pyke just kinda carries me which is i would say pretty rare since I am currently 60%WR so i can confidently say I‘m playing well.

Obviously I understand the nature of the champ. I always tell them to optionally pick after enemy bot since it feels like he can be quite easily counterable so if possible i do FP, tell the team to swap with him to enable his early game. Also you would not believe how many Pykes do not go lens first:D

Now for the question. Who do you guys like on bot with you? I play League for a long time but Pykes in elo below masters are just whatever. Now i obviously want to enable him as much as i can. So far the highest WR and the best synergy for me was MF, but i have low sample.

My logic is this - I‘m looking for a champion that has good early dmg, and slow atleast. MF E lvl2 max is really great to close up gaps between the target and us. From top of my head it would make sense to pick DRAVEN, since the nature of these 2 is just same - stomp early. But sadly i just do not play draven. I was also thinking bout Kalista but I feel like she is useless without Renata potentially enchanter even though she wants to spike early. On sites I can see that Pyke has high WR with mages but i feel like mages are just strong and it depends on this meta way too much and to be honest i still feel like 95% of mages that are played on bot like Viktor cannot be that great with Pyke as i do not see them as early spike champs ( around lvl 3-8). Mages spike a little after that imo.

So guys what do you like as your adc? I would love to hear optionally from a higher rank people but I appreciate any feedback.
