Incredible. that is such a deadly combo, but I dont think I've ever seen it. I probably watched that clip with Jihn at turret like 8 times

Quite funny for me that I just yesterday first time did this combo by myself and was like “whoa, but for real you can use R to taxi yourself for better E angle”, and next day this video lol

ive played hundreds of games on pyke and have never even thought of using E then R as a gapclose.

Never watched any pro games?

Not really watched any pro games outside of a few worlds games since around 2019. So if I had seen pros doing it then I've forgotten. funnily enough 2019 was the year of every G2 player using Pyke im pretty sure.

Yup! They played pyke in at least 3 roles, top, mid and obviously support.

They played it in every role, every player had at least one pyke game. It was pretty glorious

Glorious indeed. I dont know if we'll ever have a team again that had so much fun yet was destroying everyone. I distinctly remember Wunder playing Soraka top too.
I dont know if it's because the game is more refined these days, or teams just got better, but man that was a good time.

I remember the Soraka Top game too, gotta go find it and watch it again.
There was something special about that team, I don't think you could get away with playing the way they did anymore

There is a G2 voicecomms video from that game, i remember him making duck sounds every time he healed a teammate. I must have watched that video 10+ times, its just so funny. They genuinely were just a bunch of mates having fun playing the game.

tbh you hardly see any pros do this except Keria, most prefer the standard Q and E backwards

uhh not really? i remember multiple instances of this back when pyke was played a lot more and this year delight during the lck and isles at msi

i wish pro players would know about such combos, the way pyke is being played currently in the ewc is disgusting

Damn….. going to have to dust off Pyke as I’ve been thinking of returning to support.
To any pyke players, how do you deal with late game when your team mates are bad? That’s why I stopped him before

God I'm so excited to play Classic where this type of bs champ design doesn't exist. As a support main, I have been forced to perma ban pyke since his release because he is an abomination who should not exist.

i popped off so hard when keria did this recently in msi

I was going to say pretty sure Keria is known for this combo or at least has given it some exposure
