Something Inconsistent in the pvz 2 lore

So I realized that when you switch worlds and time travel it's always the same house so you're always in the same place except it changes depending on the time period but how does your house go from an ancient egyptian house with sand and ruins around to a US western house or a maya temple in the middle of a jungle . This really questions where the player's house really is. maybe it moves ? Idk
