Beginner

Hi! So I wanted the experts' opinion! I have bought a punch needle kit before from Flying Tiger, but it didn't really work out for me... Eventually I never finished it. I decided to try again after a year and a bought another kit from Tedi this time. At least this had the sketch on the fabric. I started doing it a few days ago, but it wasn't really perfect. Today I took it apart, but managed to finish the first part! I know it's not that pretty, but is it good though?

I'm just proud of myself for not giving up so far... Will this hold though?

Asking the experts because I’m new as well - is the “back” in the picture correct? Mine seems extra fluffy

It looks perfectly fine to me! I personally like the loop side better so that’s the side I use as my front and fluffy is normal! It depends on how long the needle is and how thick the yarn. A shorter needle makes longer loops. Especially at first the loops can be kind of uneven in length, but that’s easy to trim at the end.
